Chris presently regularly acts for most of the major house builders, including David Wilson Homes, Barratt, Taylor Wimpey, Bovis, Bloors, Redrow, Charles Church and Persimmon, and many of the major national developers, including St Modwen, Hallam Land, Richborough Estates, Gleeson Strategic, Wellbeck and Catesby. He is also currently acting for smaller regional house builders including Martin Grant Homes and regional development companies such as Summerfield and Riverdale. He also acts for charities, small builders and individuals, including farmers on agricultural matters. Chris is presently involved in numerous Local Plan examinations including acting for St Modwen in the East Riding Local Plan, Richborough Estates at the Birmingham Local Plan, and acting for the South Worcestershire authorities in Part 2 of the SWDP EIP. Chris regularly advises his clients on judicial and statutory reviews, and how best to avoid such challenges. He is presently acting in various High Court challenges to procedures and appeals affected by Neighbourhood Plans. He has been involved in over a dozen cases involving Neighbourhood Plans, including advising on their content. He is also regularly instructed in respect of compulsory purchase matters, including education, housing and planning orders. He acted for Warwickshire County Cricket Club on the CPO for their new facilities at Edgbaston. He is also involved in minerals and waste matters, including
