The landscapes Cloé paints, predominately Irish, begin life as small oil studies painted in situ. Cloé s method of working is to use broad expressive washes of colour with thick layers of impasto worked in with a pallet knife. Awe of the earths vast land masses, disputed borders, and natural events led to this particular work.
