1 Welcome to Western Water What we do Western Water brings water to your house. First, we filter your water. Filter means we take out any dirt. Then we treat your water. Treat means we add chemicals to kill any germs. Then we bring the water to your house through our pipes. Your water is safe The water that comes out of your taps at home is safe and healthy to drink. We test our water often to make sure it is safe.

3 Our services We try hard to make sure you always have water. If a pipe breaks and your water stops we will fix this as quickly as we can. If our sewerage pipes are blocked, we will fix this as quickly as we can. If you are not happy with our services you can call us on and we will try to help you. If you are still not happy you can call the Energy and Water Ombudsman Victoria on The Energy and Water Ombudsman helps people with problems with water services.

4 Your bill We will send you a bill 3 times a year. You will need to pay: Money for having water Money for the amount of water you use Money for having sewage taken away Money to help improve rivers and creeks.

5 How to pay your bill You can pay: On the Internet using BPay to pay the money to us from your bank account By direct debit. This means you ask us to take the money from your bank account We can take a smaller amount every 2 weeks or every month Or we can take all the money for your bill when the bill is due At the Western Water office or post office By Centrepay. This means we take the money out of your Centrelink payment By writing a cheque for the amount and sending it to us in the mail with the payment slip from the bottom of your bill.

6 Concessions If you have a: Pensioner Concession Card Health Care Card or Veteran Gold Repatriation Card You might pay less for your bill. Call us if you have one of these cards. Problems paying If you have a problem paying your bill, call us on so we can help you.
