Description San Martino, our 16th century farmhouse, offers simple styling, historic features and modern comforts. The perfect setting for your holiday. Lovingly restored, in keeping with the original features of the property, the house has also been upgraded to the highest level. San Martino has 2 swimming pools, tennis court & gym set next to our new kitchen garden, a spa as well as fantastic countryside and grounds...our farm nestles deep in the Tuscan countryside among olive groves, vineyards and woodland with outstanding views extending from the Chianti hills to the Apennine Mountains. Inside the house features antique furnishings, blissful bathrooms, kitchens for feasting with friends or cosy family dinners. Chill out in the soothing spa with essential oils, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi or stretch out on the oversized couches in front of a roaring fire. Sip a glass of Chianti while listening to your favourite music or taking in a film on our home cinema system. The accommodation includes five generous double rooms all with views, luxurious en-suites and air-conditioning. Each has its own unique special features, a double whirlpool bath, a light shower, a private balcony room or an historic fireplace. Each room has its own individual character, stunning views and all being en-suite. In addition all the bedrooms have original beamed ceilings, underfloor heating and air-conditioning.

2 La Camera Principale La Camera Principale (Bedroom 1), whose key feature is its incredible beamed ceiling, also features a cosy seating area around the window overlooking the olive groves and a traditional wood burning stove. The en-suite bathroom not only has stunning views but low level lighting and candles enable guests to relax for hours in the large oval whirlpool bath. La Torre La Torre (Bedroom 2), is in the oldest part of the house. Amazing exposed walls show all its history with old doorways and windows now beautifully lit up and used as features in the room. La Torre also has an enormous working fireplace, its own balcony with separate entrance and stairs to the garden, seating and views across all the countryside. The room has a beautiful en-suite with double sinks and light shower. La Camera Romantica La Camera Romantica (Bedroom 3), again has a beautiful exposed wall subtly lit by antique candle lights. The key feature in this bedroom is the exquisite bathroom with its low beamed ceiling, views across the farm and candlelit roll top bath. La Camera della Vista La Camera della Vista (Bedroom 4), it is this room where guests wake up to the best view in the house. From their bed guests can throw back the shutters and see all the way to the Apennine Mountains. The split-level bathroom has an antique stone sink and power shower. The bedrooms are all on different levels being linked by a large hallway and arched passages. Also upstairs is an extra shower room for general use. Leading down from the hallway are stone stairs to the living areas and fifth bedroom on the ground floor. La Camera del Giardino La Camera del Giardino (Bedroom 5) is the fifth bedroom and is situated on the ground floor. To one side a wood burning stove and cosy seating area provide a quiet area to relax. To the other side a small doorway leads to a private garden area facing the Chianti Hills. The en-suite for this room also comprises our spa. Within this wet room area are a sauna, mosaic tiled steam room, and sunken jacuzzi bath. The bedroom also has a separate W.C.. Double doors lead into the living areas. The property is set in approximately 16 acres of its own gardens, fringed by olive groves, vineyards and forest, which are typical of the local area. Beautiful flora and fauna abound. Cinghiale (wild boar), Capriolo (roe deer) and Gufi (owls) can be spotted in the vicinity, while the natural grassland is a mass of wild fennel, coriander, mints and other aromatic herbs and flowers. We have a host of equipment and play experiences for young children including a fenced playground with Camelot Castle, slides, walkways, swings, sandpit playhouses and more as well as toys for inside and out available for all the houses. As well as offering babysitting and child minding services we can offer chefs, shopping and meal drops. The local restaurants welcome children of all ages. For your convenience we offer cots, bedding, hi-chairs, changing equipment, bath seats etc., just request them when you book. The grounds offer playhouses, paddling pools, drawing-boards and other toys for your complimentary use. For older children and adults we have a tennis court and badminton sets. Full Sky TV is available with all the children's, film and sport packages in case there s a rainy day or you just need to chill. We have child-friendly pets on-site, all of whom receive their own fan mail each year: Basil and Polly our cats, ponies including the adorable and cheeky Ester and Neri as well as on request Zanzi our dog. They are all extremely tolerant of all children and provide hours of entertainment if you seek them out.
