4 Lotus Lake This famous scenic area on the northern outskirts of Kaohsiung City is noted for its profusion of temples, with the Confucius Temple at its northern edge and, in the south, the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas and the Spring and Autumn Pavilions. The lake is most beautiful in the late afternoon, when the setting sun is reflected in the water. Nearby are the ruins of the Fengshan County walls and gates, which have been designated a first-grade historic. Day 5 Kenting Maobitou Park Eluanbi Lighthouse - Chuanfan Rock - Longpan Park-Taitung Maobitou Park Maobitou is the southernmost tip of Taiwan with a distance of 3.5 km away from White Sand Bay (Baisha Beach) on the southeast corner of the Hengchun Peninsula. Being one of the must-visit tourist attractions in Kenting area, the scenic area features a giant piece of coral jutting out the sea. The name Maobitou which means cat s nose and head in Mandarin comes from its unique appearance like a crouching cat. Eluanbi Lighthouse Eluanbi Lighthouse is managed by the Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance, Taiwan. The lighthouse is built between the Pacific Ocean and the Taiwan Strait, facing toward the Luzon Strait. Thus, the lighthouse has a splendid panorama. The lighthouse is open to the public all year around. Today, Eluanbi Lighthouse is called "The Light of East Asia", because its intensity is the most powerful among Taiwan lighthouses. Chuanfan Rock Chuanfan Rock is a very famous landmark in KenTing coast area. It looks like a sailboat raising the sail, ready to set out and conquer somewhere at another side. The cause of Chuanfan Rock is presumable. Coral limestone spread over the coast has been pounded and eroded over and over again; the rocks gradually become fragile and broken.

5 Longpan Park With a wide range of grassland, Longpan is lying between Jiae road and the Pacific Ocean, and is a spacious place for visitors to watch the sunrise, sunset, and the stars. As a coral limestone tableland, Longpan is rich in slumping cliffs, caves, and fissures Day 6 Taitung Hualien Sansiantai Hualien Sugar Factory (Guangfu Sugar Mill)- Chishingtan Scenic Area Taroko National Park Sansiantai Formerly,Sanxiantai was a narrow and elongated cape into the ocean. When the neck of the cape was eroded by the tide,the rest of the cape was disconnected with the land and became an island. It is said that three gods,named Li Tieguai,Lu Dongbin and He Xiengu visited here and left three pairs of footprints. The Chishingtan Scenic Area located in Beipu Village, Xincheng Township, in the northeast of Hualien City. Visitors can get there via Meilun Industrial Park by following the signs in front of the National Hualien University of Education. The beach there has an elegant arch shape. The seawater there is clean and blue. The black stones there are crystal. From here visitors can see the great green mountains afar and the twisting highways. Jiufen Founded during the Qing Dynasty, this small town was a relatively isolated village until the discovery of gold during the Japanese occupation in 1893, quickly developing the town due to a gold rush. Many buildings in the town remain unchanged to this day, reflecting the Japanese influence on both architecture and culture on the island. During World War II, the town housed a Japanese prisoner of war camp where captured Allied Force soldiers (mainly British) were forced to work in the gold mines. After the war, gold mining activities declined, and the town today exists mainly as a tourist destination remembering and celebrating Taiwanese history and culture.

7 Taipei Night Market The Ximending a neighborhood and shopping district in the Wanhua District of Taipei, Taiwan. It was the first pedestrian zone in Taiwan. The Ximending has been called the "Harajuku of Taipei" and the "Shibuya of Taipei".The Ximending is the source of Taiwan's fashion, subculture, and Japanese culture. Wufenpu Commercial District Wufenpu is Taipei's largest wholesale market for clothes. This is the place where street vendors come to purchase goods for reselling. Shilin Night Market The Shilin Night Market in Taipei is one of the largest, most popular night markets in Taiwan with regard to food, and also one of the most popular points of Taipei's night life among visitors.
