19 Bike tour of La Candelaria and world renown graffiti murals Cruise the capital s historic colonial district, La Candelaria, by bike with one of our young, dynamic and incredibly smart historians. Given that Bogotá is one of the graffiti capitals of the world, the tour would not be complete without a look of Bogotá s street art, which portrays artistic interpretations of the country s history and current events.

20 Paloquemao market Visit Paloquemao, a marketplace where you can get lost in a world full of flavors,smells, textures and colors. Paloquemao can be described as Bogotá s Mecca of food, bringing together suppliers of flowers, meat, vegetables, fruits, packaged goods and seafood from all over the country. This is one of the most important marketplaces of the country, where you can taste an infinite number of exotic fruits of Colombia and get a chance to see some of the most colorful, exotic flowers in the world.

21 Leo Cocina y Cava Renowned chef, Leo Espinosa and daughter sommelier Laura Hernandez Espinosa, take an ecosystem and anthropological approach to portray Colombia s gastronomy. With the support of biologists, anthropologists, producers and growers, the restaurant s menu is based on local products and ancestral knowledge. Leo s kitchen is the result of an investigation expressed through the country s biodiversity and ancestral cooking knowledge of communities throughout the country. This small restaurant was rated among the top 50 restaurants in Latin America in Leo also recently won Best Woman Chef in Latin America for the year 2017.

23 Salt Cathedral in Zipaquirá Zipaquirá is the former center of salt production of the Muisca Indians. Here you will find one of Latin America's wonders and the most notable achievement of Colombian architecture: The largest deposit of rock salt in the world where you can find a gigantic cathedral built inside a salt mine - the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá. This impressive Roman Catholic church built 200 meters underground, inside the tunnels of an old salt mine has been declared as the first wonder of Colombia, and is also an important touristic and pilgrimage destination.

24 Andrés Carne de Res Located in the outskirts of Bogotá on our way back from Zipaquirá, Andrés Carne de Res is a legendary steakhouse that blows everyone away even repeat visitors for its all-out-fun atmosphere with some of the most delicious steaks (vegetarian options also available) and incredibly surreal decoration. 36 Medellín innovation tour Medellin was 20 years ago known as the murder capital of the world. 37 Silletero culture This tradition comes from the use of silletas or chairs as a means of transportation of different products. You will learn about the history and events of the spectacular Feria de las Flores (Flower Fair), which takes place in Medellin each year in the month of August, where every year thousands of silletas are adorned with countless variety of flowers that are paraded through the streets of Medellin. The silleta making tradition is currently passed on from generation to generation. In this experience, you will get a chance to meet traditional silleteros the men and women who create the beautiful silletas that carry them during the flower parade and learn how to make your own silleta. The haciendas were the silletas are made are located in higher ground, allowing guests to enjoy marvelous views of these flower-colored hills.

39 Day trip to Gaviotas Gaviotas Picture a savanna where the soil is too acid to plant new trees and yet it has been restored into an amazon oasis thriving with biodiversity. The initiators of what seemed to be impossible were an innovative community driven to prove tropical rainforests can be restored, humans can live in collaboration with nature and innovative thinking can solve energy, food and housing challenges. FROSCH Colombia has developed an exclusive partnership with Paolo Lugari and Gaviotas. We are able to take you to Gaviotas on board of a private jet, to get a chance to learn more about this pioneering community in midst of the Colombian Llanos, in guidance of Paolo Lugari himself! In the early 1970s, a young visionary named Paolo Lugari embarked on the journey to build a sustainable village in Los Llanos, the Eastern plains of Colombia. Lugari and his team of collaborators worked under the assumption that if it could be done there, it could be done anywhere else in the world. Developing ingenious renewable energy technologies, hydroponic farming techniques, and managing to regenerate a rainforest whose lush ecosystem supports over 200 different species of plants and animals, Las Gaviotas has been able to flourish for 45 years, attracting the attention of the UN and many academics around the world.

40 Following this one of a kind day trip to Gaviotas, we can organize complementary experiences in the area to do either an Eco Safari in Los Llanos to see anacondas, exotic birds, tapirs, anteaters, capybaras, deer, etc. or ride on horseback through the vast plains, or to fish your own piranha dinner. Guests can immerse their selves in the Llanero culture by corralling cattle with local cowboys, or having lunch with members of the Guahibo indigenous community, or dancing to the traditional Joropo music, ending the day at an exclusive glamping site.
