This area, known as Los Cabos, is bookended by colorful Cabo San Lucas to the west and the quieter town of San José del Cabo to the east. The Club's 23 residences are nestled within the private community of Punta Ballena, a luxury residential community located along this corridor just 15 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas. Perennial member favorites since Cabo s inception in 2003, the Club's 23 four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom homes are equipped with the latest technology such as Apple TVs and indoor-outdoor surround sound. They all look as pristine as ever following extensive upgrades and renovations after Hurricane Odile hit the Baja Peninsula in The remodeled villas feature upgrades including an updated modern décor with new color palettes and sliding glass doors that blend inside and out. In June 2015, Esperanza debuted a new restaurant with an emphasis on local ingredients, a new lounge bar located beneath a magnificent palapa roof, and renovated grounds and amenities. These homes have access to the Punta Ballena Beach Club for restaurant, resort pool, and fitness center, and daily breakfast service is available at no charge (the cost of groceries is added to your house bill). The 12 homes at Esperanza are stacked condo-style residences on floors one to four of four residential buildings within the grounds of Esperanza Resort. They have access to three resort pools and an award-winning spa and fitness center. Breakfast is available in the restaurants or via room service or private chef. All homes here in Cabo have access to Esperanza s five excellent dining options, ranging from a casual lounge bar to high-end cuisine. No matter the home you choose, each makes the most of the gorgeous outdoor scenery with private balconies, hot tubs and

Housekeeping: Housekeepers will typically receive $10 per day of service. If you make heavier use of their services, you may wish to leave a little extra. Restaurants and Private Chefs: Servers should be tipped 10-20% of the final bill depending on service. Transportation: Companies (such as car services) may add 10% into their bill for gratuity. If they do not, a 10-15% gratuity is typical. It is not customary to tip taxi drivers in Mexico. Bell staff: $1-2 USD per bag Transportation Private transfers from the airport cost $ USD each way for up to 6 people. With the strict transportation regulations, to get private transportation it is necessary to provide your flight information at least 48 hours in advance. Valet parking is available, or you can park one or two cars in the free parking lot. There is a convenient taxi stand at the resort s main entrance, should you prefer not to drive. The privacy fence has been taken down and very little noise is occurring at this point. Another construction project has commenced on a property adjacent to Punta Ballena (not within the Punta Ballena community), yards from Residencia 221. It is visible from the backyard and construction noise may affect the villa. For the latest details, please contact your Concierge. Additional Fees No additional fee is required to book these residences. In the Las Residencias and Villas Las Conchas homes, we offer two options for housekeeping service. Both services include breakfast preparation: For additional information and menus, please contact your Concierge. Regular Housekeeping Service: A housekeeper can prepare breakfast from a set menu selection. The service can be at 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., or 10:00 a.m., lasts for one hour and is served family buffet-style. There is no charge for this service other than the cost of the grocery items. Limited time slots are available, so reserve yours in advance. Premium Housekeeping Service: For an additional daily fee, a dedicated housekeeper can prepare breakfast for you each morning from an expanded breakfast menu and a more flexible time schedule. This option includes table service, mid-day snack preparation and laundry assistance. The cost of this service is $75.00 per day plus the cost of grocery items.

6 At Esperanza, housekeeping is offered everyday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Breakfast is available at Cocina del Mar, Las Estrellas, or via room service. Esperanza is now charging $40 for any additional grocery requests. As always, your pre-arrival grocery requests are filled at no fee to you. Resort Detail These homes are located in the Punta Ballena development, in KM 7 on Mexico's HWY 1, a ten-minute drive to Los Cabos and 35 minutes to the Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). Esperanza Resort, an Auberge Resort, sits in the middle of Punta Ballena and the Villas Las Conchas and Residencia villas lie outside its gates on either side of the resort. Members staying in Esperanza have access to all resort amenities three resort pools, spa, fitness center, restaurants, and more. Those staying in the Villas or Residencias are welcome to use Punta Ballena Beach Club, which offers a large resort pool, restaurant, and fitness center. They may also book reservations at the Esperanza restaurants and spa. Local Considerations This development was built into the cliffside and the ocean here has an undertow, so the beaches are not swimmable. However, a beautiful, expansive beach is just a ten-minute ride away. The best time to visit Los Cabos is mid-october through June. The likelihood of rain could be higher from July to September. Logistics and Transportation US citizens (including children) must have a passport valid for at least six months at time of entry to Mexico. The local currency is the Mexican peso (MXN). $1.00 USD = MXN, and 1.00 MXN = $0.06 USD, as of September US dollars are widely accepted, so exchanging currency is not critical. Recently the value of the peso has fluctuated wildly; to see current conversions, go to For parents traveling with their children and without their spouse, Mexican law requires you carry a notarized letter from the spouse who is not traveling to confirm that you are allowed to be traveling with them. It is about 40 minutes from the residences. Your concierge will arrange for car service to and from the airport. Taxis are readily available to take you anywhere you wish to go, but if you prefer to drive yourself during your stay, your concierge will gladly arrange for a rental car. Ground transportation services in Los Cabos are very strictly regulated by the state government of Baja California Sur. Your Concierge can arrange private transportation to and from the airport to your residence, but beyond this all ground transportation in the area must be provided by taxis (any changes to airport transportation require 24 hours' notice).
