With over artifacts for the public to enjoy, the museum provides 14,000 sq.m. of exhibition space, and is a modern architectural masterpiece located in the historical area of Makrigianni, only 300metres from the Acropolis. There are four floors, in w hich the guests can be introduced to the history of the Acropolis from Ancient times until the very latest findings. The main town of the island is called Aegina Town. The locals refer to it simply as 'the centre' although it is positioned on the West coast. On arrival you are likely to notice two land-marks.
