CURRICULUM VITAE Dr. SKOULIKARIS Charalampos was born in Athens, Greece, in He obtained a diploma and Master s diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace. Greece, in 2002 and 2004 respectively, and was awarded the title of Doctor by the Departments of Civil Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and the Département de Sciences de la Terre et de l'environnement d Ecole des Mines de Paris - Paris Tech in Throughout his PhD, he worked on European and national research projects and also as an assistant to the faculty members of the Department of Civil Engineering (AUTh), where his duties were to teach and supervise laboratory experiments for courses on "Systems Risk and Analysis" and "Environmental Hydraulics. In September 2007 he was elected General Secretary of the UNESCO Chair and Network/INWEB (International Network of Water/Environment Centres for the Balkans) hosted by AUTh. His main research interests are the sustainable and integrated management of water resources at river basin scale, with particular emphasis on the application of hydrologic models, the simulation of hydroelectric projects, the evaluation of climate change impacts on existing and future hydraulic projects and the estimation of the environmental costs and socio-economic impacts of large scale projects in river basins. 2.
