This involved first year seminars (introductory seminars on various topics of psychology) for two terms, second year practical classes (psychological research methods) for two academic years (four terms), first year practical classes (introduction to psychological research methods) for a year (two terms) and second year practical classes in statistics for two terms (the use of the statistical programme Statistica ). February 2006: Two lectures on discourse analysis and ideological dilemmas. The two lectures were part of the course Methodology in Educational Research which is taught in the M.A. programme of the Department of Primary Education in the School of Education at the Aristotle University of Thessalonica. Research Experience February present: Contact person of the project Lay and social sciences discourses on identity, migration and citizenship. The project is funded by ERC and it is a Marie Courie reintegration grant whose beneficiary is Maria Xenitidou. March 2012-June 2015: Head of the project Socio-psychological texts and everyday discourse on identity and migration. The research project is implemented within the framework of the Action «Supporting Postdoctoral Researchers» of the Operational Program "Education and Lifelong Learning" (Action s Beneficiary: General Secretariat for Research and Technology), and is cofinanced by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Greek State. Duties involved interviewing out-patients in order to evaluate their mental health condition and also some training in a psychiatric clinic. Moreover part of my Vocational training took place in a consultancy centre for drug abusers. March 2002 May 2003: Military service in Greece as a clinical psychologist. Duties involved visiting military units and interviewing the soldiers in order to diagnose any possible mental health problems. In addition my duties included assessing stress levels and living conditions in the units I was visiting. The results were reported back to the Greek Army headquarters. April July 2004: I was appointed as Honorary Research Associate in the Department of Psychology at Lancaster University undertaking collaborative writing with members of the Department. November June 2009: Psychologist working for the Ministry of Justice in the Kassavetia prison, Volos. Language Literacy Greek (native).
