7 MUSEUMS 7 MUSÉE D ETHNOGRAPHIE MUSÉE DE LA MARINE The Normandy Culture and Ethnography Museum of Honfleur is housed in the former prison and in some houses dating from the 16 th century. It consists of nine rooms reconstructed and furnished in the traditional norman style (furniture, objects, traditional costumes). Along the Vieux Bassin, the Maritime Museum is housed in St. Etienne church, the oldest church in Honfleur, erected in the 14 th century. A collection of model ships is an illustration of the work of the shipwrights and the ships, which navigated in the 18 th and 19 th centuries. 32 32 GENERAL CONDITIONS SALES TERMS Prices quoted are for tours starting and ending in Honfleur and are for the basic tours: admission fees for the different museums and places of interest to be visited and, where appropriate, the cost of meals, are charged extra... Tour times: tours start at the time indicated at the time of booking. Any delay will be charged. If the start of the tour is delayed by one hour, without prior notice given to the Tourist Office, the tour will be cancelled without refund. Extra time: any extra time no previously reserved will be charged by the Tourist Office according to the applied rates Entrance fees: the Tourist Office reserves the right to charge any exceeded unscheduled times in the original booking according to the current price. If the tour starts or ends outside Honfleur: a charge of 0.60 / km and toll fees will be added. Guide s lunch: unless the guide is eating with the group during an 8 hours tour, a charge of 15 will be added. Cancellation: the full charge for the tour is payable if cancelled less than 24 hours in advance. Modifications to the number of participants: modifications to the number of participants in a reservation for more than 30 people will be invoiced on the unit price. Modifications to a reservation for less than 30 people will be invoiced a fixed price according to the reserved visit. Any decline in the number of participants which require the cancellation of one or more guides (1 guide awarded for 40 people maximum) undisclosed 24 hours before the visit will be charged according to the total amount to pay validated at the time of booking. Payment: no payment will be accepted at the Tourist Office. An invoice will be sent after the guided tour. Unless otherwise stated on your part in the 24 hours following the visit, the invoice will be established on the basis number of participants indicated at the time of your booking and appearing on the reservation. Payment should be made in euros within 30 days after receipt of the invoice. VISITS AND TOURS If exceptionally any building (Greniers à Sel, St. Catherine church...) or place of interest is closed, the Tourist Office reserves the right to change part or all the itinerary of the tour, with no possibility of repayment. These changes will not give rise to any refund. School: during the tour, children remain under teachers authority and responsibility. Jeu-Visite: This visit is not a guided tour. Participants, divided into teams have to complete the questionnaire by autonomy in the city. A person will be posted at a determined point in the city to guide teams. He will proceed to the correction at the end of the visit with all of the teams. He can then answer the questions of the participants and give them more explanations. Bags and luggage: current regulations and configuration of the Tourist Office do not allow us to store your belongings during your stay in Honfleur. COACHES For tours inside the town, please see the map page 30 for drop off and pick up of passengers and coach parking. Any application to drive the coach within the town centre must be made in writing to the town hall.
