En route visit Burana Tower. Lunch en route. Upon arrival free time for walking. Dinner and overnight in guest house. Day 3 CHON-KEMIN - TASH-RABAT After breakfast drive to Tash-Rabat. Tash Rabat is a well-preserved 15th century stone caravanserai in At-Bashy district. Dinner and overnight in Nomads Yurts. Day 4 TASH-RABAT - SON-KUL After breakfast drive to Sonkul. Lunch in Naryn. Sonkul is an alpine lake in northern Naryn Province. It lies at an altitude of 3016m. Upon arrival to Sonkul, hiking around yurt camps. Dinner and overnight in Yurts. Day 5 SON-KUL - KYZYL-OI After breakfast drive to Kyzyl-Oi village. Kyzyl-Oi is quite different from the other mountain villages in Kyrgyzstan. It existed even before the Great Socialist Revolution, and has therefore kept its distinct Central Asian character with its reddish clay houses. After lunch you can ride on horses (opt.) to gorge and enjoy magnificent view of Kokomeren River. Dinner and overnight at local house. 8 NEW TOUR ALONG KYRGYZSTAN & KAZAKHSTAN 13 DAYS Special price The Burana Tower and the ruins of Balasagun, registered in the World Heritage site as the «Silk Road: Chang an - Tienshan Corridor», in 2014, are located in the old town of Balasagun, 12 km from the town of Tokmok. The fortress of the Karakhan dynasty, which was a Muslim dynasty from the 10th century to the 13th century, now has only a large soil cliff. In the immediate vicinity of the tower there is a tombstone and a statue of a «stone man», called barbal, lined up in green meadows. The excavated Scythian artifacts were transferred to the museums of St. Petersburg and Bishkek. There are ruins Ak-Beshim of the 6-12 centuries, approximately 6 km north-west of the Burana tower. It is now clear that Buddhist temples have been excavated and that this is an oasis city, Suyab (shredded castle) of the Tang dynasty. It lies on the border between China, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, east of Issyk-Kul Lake. Its geological altitude is 6,995 m (22,949 ft), but its glacier cap rises to 7,010 m (22,999 ft). For this reason, he is considered a mountain climber, including the Soviet Snow Leopard Award, as a 7,000-meter high peak. The name «Khan Tengri» means «king of heaven» and may refer to the deity Tengri. In some other local languages he is known as Khan Tangiri Shyngy, Kan-Too Chokusu (Bloody Mountain Peak), Khan-Tengry Pik and Hantengri Feng. 13

Margilan also has traditional silk factories. Next, in Kyrgyzstan, we will visit the Sulaiman Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and see the shaman show of women in the Alai area and a Tandyr-Samsa culinary master class. In Kyrgyzstan we will also visit the Burana Tower of XI Century, the Dungan Mosque and the Orthodox Church in Karakol, the largest cattle bazaar in Central Asia and of course the beautiful gorges and lakes there. The first source describing Kyrgyz folk living in Central Asia dates back to the 1st thousands BC. Throughout many centuries they could keep their name and traditions.in fact Kyrgyz people had Shamans in ancient times. However after Kyrgyz tribes accepted Islam in the Middle Ages, the Shamanism began to disappear. Later, the Soviet authority prohibited all religions and beliefs. Yet, some rituals and elements of shamanism remained in remote areas which are still practiced in our culture today.as Kyrgyzstan gained its independence, the shamans revive again. Nowadays local people call them Kös atschyk, Moldo, Bakschy, Bugu, etc. They are believed to have special skills to communicate with nature, spirits of ancestors and some of them are strong enough to heal diseases. 42 Kyrgyz National Horse Games Horses along with hunting dogs have always played a huge role in the daily life of the Kyrgyz people. They were essential not only in the hunt, but the true helpers in everyday family life. Even today the majority of the rural population in the country follow a semi-nomadic way of life. Almost everyone can ride a horse, and a variety of horse games that have been passed on from generation to generation, provide an excellent opportunity to show their riding skills, agility and prompt reaction. Today you may see games such as: Er Enish - pulling the strings of the contestants, testing their strength, cleverness and toughness. Wrestling fight on horses. Confusion and the attemption of might, a few intensive minutes of superhuman effort, for the man and the horse. In the dangerous dance of movements and poses, horse battering and coward-punches the winner takes all pride and triumph. Nevertheless the final judge in the spurt of emotions might not be explicited and it might affect backstage fights of supporters. Er-Enish is an element, unbridled like wild horses; At Chabysh races for long distances. Fascinating contests that have racing up to 100km in which often young boys of age are involved for playfulness of horses and sometimes saddles are removed for increasing the speed; Ulak Tartysh enchanting game in which two teams of riders compete for the goat carcass. The rider should catch the girl-rider and then he will be awarded with a kiss; Tiyin Enmey a game where the rider tries to pick up coins from ground while riding. The dates of folk games fell outside the normal tourist season as it was not intended as a festival for tourists but rather as a festival for local people. Majority of the participants are the people working in the mountains, who take cattle to one of the mountain jailoos (pasture) for the summertime. 43 III World Nomad Games The 1st World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan was held in The aim of the World Nomad Games is the return to ethnic origins, an opportunity to show the richness of the nomadic culture of the nomadic population to the nomadic children. For audiences, it is also a way to learn something new, touch nature and ancient traditions, and know the nomads hearts and integrity. Therefore, the festival program includes not only sport competitions, but also knowledge of nomadic traditions, art and philosophy. In the 2nd World Nomad Games, the sport delegations from 62 countries participated in the 23rd events and it was 1,200 participants (coaches and athletes). 111 gold medals, 111 silver, and 165 bronze medals, fought a total of 387 medals. The most spectacular in this Games was the various competitions that took place at the sports and recreation complex-hippodrome in Cholpon-Ata city of the Issyk-Kul Lake. In particular, the Kyrgyz traditional wrestling (Kok-Boru) fascinated the audience. All 700 seats were full.the rare participants of the tournament at Kok-Boru and Ordo games were Russia and the US team, who fought in the battle. What was the most interestingly expected was the Kok-Boru game between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan teams. Fans of various countries were gathering at the hippodrome, accommodating 10,000 spectators. More than 300 mass media from 35 countries visited for broadcasting, television stations such as Euronews, NHK, Al Jazeera, China TV, Deutsche Welle, Russia Today etc were relaying. And media organizations such as Reuters, National Geographic, China Daily, Associated press, Sputnik and others regularly published materials on the World Nomad Games. The opening ceremony was seen by about 800 million viewers all over the world and more than 10,000 visited. After we receive your reservation confirmation, a Provisional proforma invoice will be sent electronically, unless otherwise requested by you. Reservation is considered confirmed after sending you the Confirmation list according your Passenger / rooming list with arriving Flight details. After the approving the tour program and all clarification the final Invoice will be sent to you. PAYMENT CATS Ltd (Central Asian Travel System) will accept the 100% payment according the Invoice days prior of the tourist arrival. In case of interfering to make payment within a specified period, the timing date can be changed for companies with Signed contract. CANCELLATION POLICY All cancellations/changes/re-confirmations shall be made in writing, dated by travel agency and sent (fax or ) within the office hours in Kyrgyzstan, except Saturday and Sunday (9:00-18:00, +4 GMT) In the event that a tour participant cancels their reservation, the cancellation penalty may apply. Cancellations must be made at least 3 weeks before tour date otherwise late penalties will apply. Cancellation prior 30 days no charges apply; Cancellation prior 7-10 days 50% charge of the tour price; Cancellation prior 1-6 day 100% charge of the tour price, if there is no any notification or information about cancellation of services. CHANGES Our company is not responsible for last minute delays or change of the schedules for domestic flights or helicopter flights. Central Asian Travel System Ltd. has the right for changes of the tour schedule and route direction in cases where there are unfavorable weather conditions, terror and technical reasons and the accompanying Tour guide (after approving by the office) can make changes to the route accordingly. In case of changes in the program or impossibility to provide the services which are under our circumstances the refund will be made to the customers. IMPORTANT NOTE The drivers have strictly regulated schedule and time of departure and arrival to the indicated points on the route of the program plus photo stops and toilet stops. Please kindly note that in mountain area the driver might stop the transport only in possible and safety place. We kindly ask you to pay attention to the departure times of your group at each location visited, and that your customers be present at the hotel lobby for the times required. Personal items including jewelries, money, valuable documents and other personal belongings are the responsibility of each individual. It is our recommendation that Clients use their hotel safe box or facilities provided at the Guest Relations Desk and use the Travel insurance for unpredictable incidents. *Special dietary requirements of tourists are catered for in the menu including vegetarian, diabetic, and dairy-free.
