In the early years of his professional career, he was employed as an engineer for operational planning and wood production. Later he specialized in forest inventory and forest management planning and worked in public administration as assistant Minister and Director of the forest directorate between 2000 and During this period he was actively engaged in international projects, advising on development of forest regulations, reorganization of state administration and public enterprise for forest management. Hereafter he worked as manager in public forest enterprises, responsible for prosperous business success, which demanded besides business analysis and strategy development, the elaboration of progressive FMI systems. As designer and developer, he worked in several international projects on software packages for forest inventory and forest management planning as well as forest sector development in Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia and Georgia. In 1999 he had started to work as Forest Information System Expert in Serbia. His focus will be on the IT part of the change process, when prioritized business areas for change have already been identified and decided upon.
