2 General information We thank you for your interest in our shipping service from Zeebrugge (Belgium) to Rosyth (Scotland) DFDS Seaways sails three times a week in both directions. However, during the summer holidays, we maintain a reduced sailing schedule. For each departure we have state-of-the-art cargo vessels at our disposal, which can accommodate 8 passengers. Upon exception, we reserve the right to make amendments to the sailing schedule. If this event occurs, your reservation will be changed to another vessel or departure. Terms and conditions A surcharge of 25 will be applied in the case of any changes by request of the passenger. Bookings can be altered, cancelled or refused due to ISPS limitations, amended sailing schedules and other operational circumstances. We kindly request you to settle the invoice seven days before departure at the latest. If your payment hasn t been made, we can t guarantee your reservation. In case you decide to cancel your reservation, the total invoice amount will be reimbursed up to five days before departure, except for a cancellation fee of 100. If you wish to cancel your reservation seven days or less before your departure, no reimbursements will be made. DFDS Seaways doesn t offer any cancellation insurance. 3 Rates All in rate includes: Comfortable double cabin with shower, toilet and sea view. Bed and bath linen. Meals and non-alcoholic drinks. (When departing from Zeebrugge on Monday and Wednesday no evening meal is served and no breakfast on Saturday. When departing from Rosyth there will be no evening meal on Tuesday.) WIFI is not available on board of the vessels. Passengers Single trip Adult 175 Children 5-15 years 100 Children under 5 years are not allowed on the vessels due to the security regulations. Vehicles Single trip Motorcycle The owner is responsible to duly secure the motorcycle on board of the vessel. 4 Important notice You can only travel with a vehicle. Passengers without a vehicle are not accepted. We have no electrical plug for cars or caravans available. Should you be carrying any frozen products, it s possible to store them in the fridge on the vessel during the journey. There is no elevator on board, please only pack hand luggage for your cabin. The crew will be happy to assist you in carrying hand luggage items. It is strictly forbidden to take weapons on board including for hunting purposes. If it turns out that you have weapons, you will be refused to board. Further departures will also be refused without any form of reimbursement. You must leave your cabin clean at check-out. If we determine that additional actions need to be carried out besides the normal cleaning, a cleaning fee of 150 will be applied to your booking. Animals are not permitted on board the vessel. 6 Reservations Our bookings department is at your disposal on from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 16:00. To guarantee a swift reservation, we kindly ask you to send the completed reservation form to paxbookings.gent@dfds.com. After receiving the reservation form, we can complete your reservation. Afterwards, you will receive a digital invoice with a payment request, which we kindly ask you to settle as soon as possible and fourteen days before your departure at the latest. You can pay by bank transfer on the following account: BE , BNP Paribas Bank, BIC Code GEBABEBB. When we have received your payment, the original invoice will be send to you by post. 7 Check-in Information Zeebrugge The terminal in Zeebrugge is located at the following address: DFDS Seaways Wielingendok - Kaai Zeebrugge Passengers travelling by vehicle Passengers are requested to register at the gate at the following times, where you can pick up your tickets. After shipping police control you can board the vessel. From there you will be escorted to the car parking at the terminal, where DFDS will pick you up for ID control and escort you to the ship. 9 Contact As the sailing schedule is subjected to changes due to the weather, we strongly recommend you to contact our bookings department before departure. If you are sailing from Zeebrugge you can contact the bookings department on between 08:00 and 16:00 on the last working day prior to your departure to confirm the check-in and departure time. If you are sailing from Rosyth you can contact the bookings department on between 09:00 and 17:00 on the last working day prior to your departure to confirm the check-in and departure time.
