38 CRYSTAL ADVENTURES HOTEL & LAND PROGRAMS TERMS & CONDITIONS BOOKING DEADLINE Pre- and post-cruise land program requests should be made as soon as possible after booking, and may not be accepted after Cruise Tickets and final documentation have been issued. RATES All prices are in U.S. dollars, per person, based on double occupancy and are subject to change. Single and triple occupancy rates are available, on request. Rates for hotel accom modation upgrades to suites and junior suites available upon request, subject to availability. EXTENDED LAND PROGRAM (ELP) AVAILABILITY We recommend early booking of Extended Land Programs due to limited availability. If a program is fully sold, Crystal Cruises will wait list and do everything possible to accommodate the request. Extended Land Programs are subject to a minimum number of Guests booking and may be cancelled at any time prior to the date of departure. Please note, due to limited availability, requests for extended, customized or personalized pre- or post-cruise Extended Land Programs are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. HOTEL PROGRAM AVAILABILITY Due to limited availability, requests for additional nights to the Crystal Classic and Classic-Plus pre- or post-cruise hotel programs will not be accepted. Hotel Programs are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Hotel Programs have a two-night maximum and may have a one- or-twonight minimum as noted. Availability varies by date and location. Suite programs include Crystal Classic-Plus amenities. DEPOSIT A deposit of 10% (20% for World Cruise 2016) of the price is required for the program to be confirmed. Final payment is due 75 days prior to the ship s departure. REFUNDS, UNUSED SERVICES, CANCELLATIONS Refunds will not be given for unused or partially used services. No refund will be made for missed hotel nights or other program features due to airline delays or other factors beyond the control of Crystal Cruises. Hotel cancellation penalties vary by property. CANCELLATIONS OF HOTEL & EXTENDED LAND PROGRAMS Cancellation fees will be assessed according to paragraph 5, Cancellations Prior to Embarkation, in the General Terms & Conditions. IMPORTANT NOTES Standard hotel check-in times apply to all programs. Rooms will normally be ready by 3 pm. Guests wishing to check in before 3 pm are advised to request an early check-in, subject to an additional night s charge. Standard check-out times apply to all programs. Check-out times vary between 11 am and 12 n. All rates listed are in U.S. dollars per person, based on double occupancy and are subject to change. Single and triple rates available on request. Triple accommodations may not be available at all properties. Although only the finest hotels have been selected, Guests should be aware that it is not always possible for these properties to provide the high standards of personalized service our Guests enjoy aboard Crystal Cruises. Hotel Program and Extended Land Program participation is strictly limited and subject to availability at the time of booking. Views and room locations cannot be guaranteed. Itineraries and hotels advertised for Extended Land Programs may change; however, alter native properties will be of an equal or better standard. Order of sights may vary. Crystal Cruises reserves the right to substitute hotels of a similar or higher standard without notice. It is recommended that Hotel Programs are booked early due to limited availability. We may be unable to guarantee hotel requests within 35 days of the cruise start date. Hotel Programs are offered only in conjunction with Crystal turnaround ports. We recommend that Guests with early-morning flight arrivals and latenight departures reserve an early check-in or late check-out (subject to an additional night s charge). Crystal Cruises reserves the right to operate an Extended Land Program without an accompanying Crystal escort, with or without notice. CRYSTAL ADVENTURES SHORE EXCURSIONS Crystal Cruises may, at any time, at its discretion, amend, delete or add to any of the featured Crystal Adventures shore excursions. A nonrefundable transaction fee is required on all Crystal Private Adventures. Please refer to the cruise-specific shore excursion booklet for cancellation information. CANCELLATION OF CRYSTAL ADVENTURES There will be no fee assessed for cancellation received prior to sailing. Crystal Adventures cancelled within 24 hours of arrival in the excursion port are non-refundable and a 100% cancellation fee will be charged to the Guest s shipboard account. Prior to sailing, all Crystal Adventures can only be cancelled in writing to Crystal Cruises or online at within ten days of sailing date. NOTE: Select Crystal Adventures require a special cancellation process, as indicated in the applicable tour book. If cancellation of the Select Crystal Adventure is made within 30 days of arrival in the excursion port, there will be a 100% cancellation fee charged to the Guest. In the event that a Guest cancels his or her cruise, this cancellation fee will be charged through the Crystal Cruises Corporate office. 40 PERSONAL SELECT AIR PROGRAM Crystal s optional Personal Select Air Program allows you to select flights from a choice of multiple itineraries or in consultation with our experienced Crystal Air Travel Concierge. Book early and take advantage of lower airfares and numerous flight options. Guests may indicate their preference for our Personal Select Air Program at time of booking or at any time prior to sailing. Flight options will be made available ten months prior to cruise departure. Personal Select Air Program rates are based on the selected itinerary and include transfers between the airport and pier on embarkation/ disembarkation dates. Guests participating in this optional program have the assurance of Crystal s support in the event of unanticipated airline or cruise schedule changes or delays which may impact their air travel plans. PERSONAL SELECT AIR PROGRAM All full-fare full-cruise guests whose travel originates from a U.S. or Canadian airport are eligible for Crystal Cruises optional Personal Select Air Program. This program is limited by Gateway City and routing to airline carriers who have a contract with Crystal Cruises. All fares are quoted per adult in U.S. dollars and include all government fees and taxes collected on the air ticket. Details regarding such fees are available on the individual airline sites. Motorcoach transfers between the airport and pier on embarkation and disembarkation dates are included. PERSONAL SELECT ITINERARIES Flights are made available to your travel professional ten months prior to cruise departure. Your travel professional can advise you of your Personal Select Air Program options and confirm your preferred flight routing. Multiple carriers and flights may be available and costs will vary by itinerary. Premium Economy, Business and First Class itineraries and rates may be offered based on availability for that routing. Once a Personal Select Air Program itinerary is selected and confirmed, payment for the air portion of the trip must be received by Crystal within 24 hours. Upon receipt of payment, the air ticket will be issued the next business day. Date of birth is required to issue tickets. Due to TSA requirements, the name on the air ticket must be identical to the name on the passport that will be used at the airport security checkpoint. Air tickets may be reissued and refunded less fees assessed by the air carriers and cruise line per the program terms as noted below. Personal Select Air is not eligible for 2.5% Early Full Payment Savings. The remainder of funds associated with the cruise booking are subject to normal deposit, payment and cancellation policies. PERSONAL SELECT CUSTOMIZED ITINERARIES If you have a complicated routing or if you prefer a route other than those offered in our standard selection, our Crystal Air Travel Concierge Desk will customize an air itinerary for you. You may prefer to arrive in the port city a day earlier or spend additional days after the cruise. You may also wish to consider the opportunity to upgrade your class of service, stop in a city en route to the ship, leave and return to different cities, or pay for a one-way itinerary. Crystal s Personal Select Customized Air Program allows you to create an air itinerary that will complete your perfect vacation. A non-refundable service fee of $100 per person will apply. The cost of air will depend on the air routing that is selected. All requests are subject to flight availability. Please note that date deviations forfeit the inclusive transfers. Private transfers may be requested for an additional fee. FLIGHT CONFIRMATION/SPECIAL REQUESTS Flight schedules are verified by Crystal Cruises at time of ticketing. Schedule changes do occur and we strongly recommend that you reconfirm all flight times with the airline 96 hours prior to departure. Airline seat assignments, special meal requests, special service requests such as wheelchair assistance, and the addition of frequent flyer account numbers to records must be arranged directly with the air carriers by the guests or their travel professionals. Accrual of frequent flyer miles may be restricted when using Personal Select Air. We also recommend that you provide the air carriers with a phone contact, address, and/or text number that can be used to notify you during your travels in the event of a flight delay, boarding gate change, or other unexpected event. AIR TRANSPORTATION In the event that adequate air service from the preferred airport is not available at the time the itinerary is booked, the guest has the option of selecting an alternate Gateway, choosing to overnight en route at his or her own expense, or booking air flights directly with the airlines. If the guest chooses Crystal s Personal Select Air Program and, due to a lack of same-day air itineraries, opts to overnight on the embarkation or disembarkation date in the port city, Crystal will assist in securing hotel accommodations and arranging for transfers between the airport and hotel, and the hotel and the pier. If the time between flight arrival/departure time and the embarkation/disembarkation time is more than 6 hours, guests may want to consider purchasing a day room or overnight hotel room for their comfort. The guest is responsible for the hotel costs, all meals and other items of a personal nature. 38

41 All airfares are based on capacity-controlled contract, promotional or group rates. Business and Premium Economy upgrade rates apply to international flights and may not apply to intra-continental flights within North America, Europe, South America, Asia or Africa. Airline tickets issued by Crystal Cruises may be highly restrictive. Because of this, guests may find that tickets cannot be reissued, revalidated, exchanged for another carrier or routing, or upgraded using frequent flyer mileage credit. Once an itinerary is selected and confirmed, payment for the air portion of the trip must be received by Crystal within 24 hours. Upon receipt of payment the air ticket will be issued the next business day. Any revision to an issued ticket is subject to a $100 per person service fee plus any change fees or fare increases charged by the air carriers. Prior to cruise cancellation penalty period, air tickets are refundable less cancellation fees assessed by the air carriers and a $100 per person service fee. Standard cruise cancellation policy applies to air tickets once the cruise is within the penalty period. The guest agrees that Crystal Cruises has the exclusive right to process a request for refund for any ticket it issues. Crystal Cruises is not responsible for any additional fees levied by the individual air carriers for miscellaneous services including but not limited to specific seat assignments, inflight meals, special assistance requests, luggage, frequent flyer mileage accrual, boarding priority or curbside assistance. Details regarding such services are available on the individual airlines' websites. These special services should be arranged by your travel professional directly with the airlines. TRANSFERS Transfers between the airport and ship are available in ports on days of embarkation and disembarkation only at the beginning and end of each published itinerary. Guests participating in a Crystal Pre- or Post-Cruise Hotel or Extended Land Program are entitled to transfers between airport, hotel and ship, or vice versa, according to itinerary. Transfers between airport or hotel and ship do not apply for guests making their own air and land arrangements. However, Crystal Cruises is pleased to extend the opportunity for cruise-only guests to purchase certain transfers for a nominal fee, available upon booking the cruise. Airport-to-ship or ship-to-airport transfers only operate between certain hours. Crystal Penthouse guests are entitled to a total of two private car and driver transfers per voyage from/to the designated airport in the port city for embarkation and disembarkation or transfers to/from other locations within 100 miles of the port city for embarkation/ disembarkation. Restrictions apply. Services are nontransferable. There are no credits given for forfeited services. Note: private vehicle (car/minivan) will be arranged according to the number of pieces of luggage. RESPONSIBILITY The guest s ticket in use by the air carrier in conjunction with this program, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the air carrier and the guest. The air carrier is responsible for any act or event that takes place while guests are on board its conveyances, or for those that occur in the course of boarding or disembarking from the aircraft. Crystal Cruises does not own or operate the air carrier, ground transportation or hotels, and is not liable in any way for loss, damage, injury, illness or death arising in conjunction with the services provided by these independent contractors.
