Deposits & Payments Reservations must be accompanied by a deposit within the period specified at time of booking. World Cruise 2009 Voyages of 38 days or more: 20% deposit per guest is required for all penthouses and staterooms (C-CP); 37 days or less: 20% deposit per guest (PH-CP); 10% deposit per guest (C-AA). Staterooms are subject to cancellation if required deposits are not received within the specified option period. The balance of the cruise fare must be received by Crystal Cruises no later than 75 days before sailing. All reservations are subject to cancellation if payments are not received by the due date. Reservations made within 75 days (90 days for World Cruise) of sailing require full payment, due three days after reservation is made. Reservations made within 14 days (21 days for World Cruise) of sailing require full payment, due one day after reservation is made. Cancellations Prior to Embarkation Cancellation requests must be made by telephone or in writing to Crystal Cruises. If the request is received by Crystal Cruises more than 75 days prior to the Crystal Air/Sea Program departure date, a full refund of amounts already paid will be made to the guest through the travel agent except as noted herein below. All other cancellations will be assessed the following charges by Crystal Cruises, regardless of a name change or stateroom resale Cruises: days before departure = 10% of fare per guest; days = 50%; 14 days and thereafter = 100%. World Cruise 2009 Voyages (38 days or more): days before departure = 20% of fare per guest; days = 50%; within 44 days = 100%. World Cruise 2009 Voyages (37 days or less): days before departure = 10%; days = 50%; within 30 days = 100%. Cruise Protection Program The Cruise Protection Program is insurance available for purchase by guests, and provides reimbursements for penalties that may be assessed due to cancellations for covered reasons, as well as medical expense reimbursement for covered sickness or accidents overseas. Medicare and many private insurance policies restrict coverage of medical expenses incurred abroad. In addition, the Rollover Provision is especially beneficial for guests who need to cancel their sailing because of a pre-existing medical condition, and are denied a cash refund from BerkelyCare, Ltd., allowing guests to apply their penalized cruise fare to another Crystal cruise within 12 months of the date of cancellation. If purchased, the Cruise Protection Program premium must be paid in full with the final cruise payment; it cannot be added at a later date. Ask your travel agent for full program details. 8
