All protective Glovewear shall be approved by SAWS Safety Committee and offered in a variety of sizes. San Antonio Water System Approved Specification and Styles: GLOVE A-1 NITRILE GLOVES (REUSABLE) This specification covers personal protective glovewear to be worn by San Antonio Water System (SAWS) employees for use when hands may be immersed in liquid chemicals or sewage. It provides more tear-resistance than thin-gauge nitrile gloves. Glovewear shall be offered in a variety of sizes. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Description: Embossed slip-resistant grip; flat cuff.
