The National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety, otherwise known as NIOSH, frequently audits our manufacturing facility. Currently, we hold NIOSH approvals for more than 75 different disposable respirator products, many of which are produced using specially designed, technologically advanced, high speed automatic machinery. This goes a long way towards guaranteeing a superior level of consistency from one face mask to the next. Similarly, we currently have many European and other nation government approvals - such as the EN149/CE approved products that we offer in Europe, as well as those in countries like Japan, Korea and Australia. But above all else, we are proud to be the largest private brand manufacturer of face masks and disposable respirators in North America. An example of the USA NIOSH private brand approval process is described in the following steps: 1) The Application We will "extend" our factory NIOSH approvals to our customers by way of a detailed application that we prepare and submit to NIOSH on your behalf. 2) The Artwork During this process, we will also include a digital copy of your box that holds the respirators. We'll provide you with the NIOSH requirements and we will work together to guarantee that proper labeling, fitting instructions, etc. is included on your packaging. 3) The Approval Once your application is approved, NIOSH will provide us with an official NIOSH label - certifying that you can sell these N95 respirators in your very own brand packaging. You can just insert this label right onto your box. 6 N95 NIOSH RESPIRATORS 9500 Comfort Series The 9500 Comfort Series of NIOSH approved respirators is the "standard" for all the industries in which these products are used. This is the basic N95 product developed to compete with similar appearing disposable respirators. By far, this cone style of N95 mask is the most widely used mask in all work environments. These models have been designed to easily meet NIOSH's stringent approval requirements for breathing resistance and filtration effciency. 7 N95 NIOSH RESPIRATORS MK Comfort Series The MK Comfort Series N95 disposable respirator has been designed as an alternative to our 9500 Comfort Series respirators. The primary difference between the two series is that the new MK design has a "flanged" edge all around the full circumferance of the masks as some users prefer this seal to the face. We also chose to change the inside nosepiece to a thinner and longer PVC foam, which some wearer's also prefer. Lastly, the MK series has a square shape exhalation valve which was chosen only as a design consideration in order to further differentiate this N95 model from our 9500 Comfort Series. 8 N95 NIOSH RESPIRATORS Envi Series Envi910F Series of respirators has been designed without any metal in the construction to make them environmentally friendly. The soft inner layer provides for maximum comfort on the user's face. The adjustable looping style head straps provides a convenient way for individual adjustment during donning and doffing. The head strap loop design also allows the mask to be hung around the neck when not in use. Low breathing resistance provide for a very comfortable wear. The soft pre-shaped nose area ensures excellent fit for various facial sizes and should be slid up and down the wearer's nose bridge area for a proper fit. Some individuals prefer the vertical and flat folded style as it is more flexible around the edges and can adapt to the wearer's facial features, and in some cases, can adapt more easily than the cone style respirator. 12 SPECIALTY R95, P95 & N99 RESPIRATORS The R95 respirators provide greater than 95% filter efficiency against oil and non-oil based particulate aerosols. These respirators are somewhat resistant to oils according to NIOSH standards. These respirators are also available with a layer of activated carbon for nuisance odor relief, or an exhalation valve for easy breathing. 13 CE APPROVED RESPIRATORS Standard Comfort Series We manufacture over 80 models of CE APPROVED disposable respirators for the European Community (some highlighted below). These respirators cover all levels of approval including FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3. Some respirators are produced without exhalation valves for work situations that are cool and not difficult to breathe in, while others are produced with our high functioning exhalation valves for use in hot and humid work conditions where a little extra ease of exhaling is required. The respirators within this range can be purchased with a variety of headstraps, and with a carbon layer for relief against nuisance odors. These respirators can be used with all kinds of head and hearing protection products. A wide range of protection factors are available.
