2 AL MAR KNIVES THE WARRIOR S EDGE In 1979, Al Mar created Specialty Cutlery with the introduction of unique designs, produced at quality levels that rivaled custom, hand-made Shiva The Shiva is an original Al Mar design and it is the first Tactical fixed blade we've ever made with a laminated VG-10 stainless steel blade. Laminating the VG-10 between two layers of 400 series stainless steel increases the lateral strength of the blade by upwards of 30% and does so without increasing the weight or bulk. The Shiva has a beautiful tapered tang, contoured and polished black Micarta scales, satin stainless guard and a full grain traditional leather sheath in black. 3 SERE Operator and the Sheath System (Survival-Evasion-Resistance-Escape) Our classic SERE design in a fixed blade version, the SERE Operator features S30V steel with a full-length perimeter tang for maximum strength. The SERE Operator has a synthetic sheath system designed for ambiextrous carry in vertical, horizontal or diagonal modes. It can be customized to be attached on a belt, pack or load-bearing equipment or just about anywhere you can think of - even inside the waist carry for maximum concealability. The systems extender mounting plate can be easily drilled to allow the user full freedom to customize their attachment point(s). The SERE Operator is supplied with the sheath, attachment clip, secondary rubber retainer and extender mounting plate and is one of the most versatile sheath systems available today. The sheath itself is 30% fiberglass filled polymer strong, light, highly chemical resistant and durable. The knife is retained in the sheath by integral locking points. The Tek Lok, attached to the back of the extender, is fully adjustable for different size belts it is ambidextrous and can be tilted into different positions by drilling additional holes in the extension plate. Scales: Prylon The extension plate is between the Tek Lok and the sheath. It can be removed for more compact carry or additional holes may be drilled in it for a custom application. It is often used when attaching the sheath to other equipment or vehicles. The rubber snubber is for additional security to keep the knife safely in the sheath under more severe conditions until needed.

It features textured black G-10 scales, a flat ground 3 VG-10 stainless blade with dual thumbstuds, heat treated 400 series stainless steel liners and heavy duty liner-lock as well as our pillar construction and flow through design. Designed by Kirk Rexroat. The Nomad is available either in satin stainless or black chrome-plated versions. Shrike The Shrike has our heavy duty liner-lock system, pillar construction and flow through design just like our SERE 2000 and Nomad for maximum performance. The owner must return the knife with a copy of the original bill of sale or other satisfactory proof of purchase that includes the date of purchase. This limited lifetime warranty specifically does not cover abuse, neglect, misuse or lack of maintenance. Broken blade tips are specifically not covered by our warranty.
