The patterns that we produce are designed by former Recon Marine, martial artist and custom knife maker Allen Elishewitz. Allen s real world experience both in the shop and on the field ensures that the designs are functional and ergonomically sound. All of our knives are meticulously crafted in the USA. 4 MATERIALS HOGUE KNIVES ONLY USES HIGH QUALITY U.S. SOURCED MATERIALS. THEY ARE SELECTED BASED ON A BALANCE BETWEEN DURABILITY, MAINTAINABILITY AND AESTHETICS. BLADE STEELS In order to fully leverage their cutting properties, all of our blades are cryogenically treated to maximize the transformation from the Austentic to Martensitic phase. 154 CM *Chemical Composition (AISI) C MN SI CR MO V W P S CM is a hard working, highly stain resistant steel that takes and holds a keen edge. It is used in our fixed blades, folders and automatic knives. We finish the surface with either a well wearing stone wash or abrasion resistant, kiln baked Cerakote firearms coating. CPM154 C MN SI CR MO V W P S All our edges are hand honed to a mirror finish CPM154 offers superior corrosion resistance while providing excellent edge retention and a high degree of toughness. We finish the surface with either a well wearing stone wash or abrasion resistant, kiln baked Cerakote firearms coating. A2 C MN SI CR MO V CU NI P S A2 is used for our EX-F01 fixed blade series. This carbon tool steel has an excellent reputation for toughness, making it a great choice for hard-use, field knife applications. To improve corrosion resistance it receives a Cerakote finish. S7 C MN SI CR MO V CU P S S7 is a carbon tool steel that is used for our Tomahawk design. It has been chosen due to its excellent shock resistance. S7 blades come with a matte Cerakote finish that helps to prevent corrosion and glare. 01 Every blade is carefully measured before finishing.

G10 ALUMINUM PPS GRP/TPE Our patented G-Mascus G10 is available on most models with several also being offered in solid black G10 or hi-tech polymers. G-Mascus is a material comprised of composite layers that are distributed in a way that when machined, leave a Damascuslike surface pattern. G10 as a base composite offers proven durability, is nearly impervious to chemical and moisture damage and is colorfast. G-Mascus Black/Grey Solid Black Black Aluminum Black PPS Black GRP Black TPE Solid metal handles are made from aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum that s given a Type III, Mil-Spec hard anodize coating. Anodizing is available in three colors on select models. G-Mascus Green G-Mascus Red Lava Flat Dark Earth Aluminum Flat Dark Earth PPS Black GRP OD Green TPE The EX-F02 handles are GRP (Glass Reinforced Polymer) while the EX-03 and EX-A03 handles are Glass Reinforced PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide). PPS provides excellent thermal stability and toughness for a consistently smooth action. The EX-F02 has an additional, soft OverMolded TPE (Thermal Plastic Elastomer) section adding to the all-weather grip. The polymers used in Hogue Knives are extremely hard wearing, impact resistant and light weight. G-Mascus Black G-Mascus Blue Lava OD Green Aluminum HARDWOOD Black GRP FDE TPE Cocobolo hardwood is available on select models of the EX-F01 fixed blade, paying tribute to a classic elegance. Ballistic Nylon with a polymer insert is used for the larger EX-F01 series knives. The medium sized EX-F02 and smallest EX-F03s have durable, Super Tough Nylon sheaths. 6 MANUAL FOLDERS 03 Hogue Manual folders represent the culmination of our capabilities and experience resulting in a superior balance of fit, finish and function. They have been engineered from the ground up to tackle any cutting tasks you put them to. Sizes range between a smaller EDC (Every Day Carry) size to a formidable large edition. All of the materials are sourced in the USA. The blades are 154 CM or CPM154 stain resistant steel that is cryogenically heat treated to a Rockwell of then hand honed to a razor sharp edge. Select models are available with a media tumbled surface (stone wash) while others have a matte, abrasion and corrosion resistant kiln baked Cerakote firearms finish. The handles of our folders are offered in a variety of high quality materials that offer exceptional wear resistance and beauty. Each grip is carefully sculpted for outstanding ergonomics, ensuring that your Hogue knife is comfortable and secure in use. When deployed our folders are held open with a tough, yet smooth operating button lock, whereas the EX-02 has an equally sophisticated liner lock. Although capable mechanisms on their own, both lock types are backed up with an additional manual safety that locks the knife open for peace of mind during harder use. Beneath the scales, the button locks are mounted into an innovative, recessed stainless steel bolster plate to ensure rigidity and long wear. The robust, custom made hardware on all moving parts is over-sized and heat treated. For convenient carry and quick access, all models have a pocket clip and either a hidden lanyard pin or hole. 7 AUTOMATICS Hogue Automatics offer impressive speed and exceptional reliability. These knives range in size from 2.75 to 4.0 and have the same feature set as the manual folders with the addition of two key elements: The auto mechanism and the manual safety that locks the knife both open and closed to prevent misfiring. Deployment is based around a strong, custom designed, over-sized coil spring that has been extensively tested and integrated to provide force along the pivot s entire range of motion. The result is an automatic that kicks open with authority every time you call on it. Each automatic is individually tested and laser etched with a unique serial number before it bears the Hogue name. 11 EX-03 EX-A03 BLADE OPTIONS SCALE OPTIONS The EX-03 and EX-A03 are light weight versions of the EX-01. The handle is PPS with our stainless steel bolster plates molded into the innovative, one piece construction. PPS offers toughness and thermal stability to ensure a consistently smooth, precise action. Grip-adding textures cover the surface and the pommel is pointed for added utility. 16 FIXED BLADES Hogue s fixed blade designs have been developed to meet the requirements of professionals and adventurers alike. The robust EX-F01 comes in two sizes and lends itself well to demanding tasks. It is available with different materials and finishes for a low key visual footprint. Each EX-F01 is paired with a matching heavy duty ballistic nylon or automatic retention polymer sheath. The EX-F02 has been developed with the outdoorsman in mind. A carefully considered grip supports your choice of two blade types for all your utility and sporting needs. This knife ships with an innovative ambidextrous auto retention sheath made from super tough nylon. For smaller discreet carry or as a backup tool, there are the EX-F03 models. Full steel handles are available with a neck knife style sheath while scaled editions ship with the neck knife and rotatable belt sheath. Neck knife sheaths are made from Boltaron while the belt sheath is made from super tough nylon. 18 EX-F02 The EX-F02 has a thinner blade geometry making it an excellent slicer suitable for outdoor tasks from food prep to wood processing and dressing game. A full length hidden tang is sealed and protected by the GRP (glass reinforced polymer) handle. Strategically placed texturing adds to the exceptional all weather grip. 19 EX-F03 The EX-F03 is a discreet, compact knife that s easy to take everywhere so you re never without your blade. It comes in two variations, with or without scales and two profiles, a clip point or hawkbill. Both have a hollow grind and surprising cutting power despite their smaller size. The Scaled EX-F03 has an extended grip over the all steel version. The finger ring helps with quick deployment and supplies superior hand retention. A Piranha Grip texture covers the surface providing extreme traction while a rotatable belt sheath makes sure the knife is in the right place at the right time. Both models have deep finger grooves and textured thumb ramps to prevent slipping. 20 EX-T01 TOMAHAWK The Hogue EX-T01 is a versatile and customizable field tool designed to fit a variety of sporting or tactical roles. It has an extended heel and toe for penetrating cuts while the blade s bellied shape covers slashing or chopping. Extending the functionality, holes in the back of Hawk s head allow for optional spike, hammer or pry-bar accessories. The head of the tomahawk has been skeletonized allowing it to be extremely light weight and agile. The cut out is also used as the mounting point in the innovative magnetic and catch lever sheath. The handle has a partial tang set into durable, highly textured G10. The end is pointed for use as an impact tool and is flared so the EX-T01 won t slip out of your hand in use. 21 Magnetic catches and a raised section that matches the cutout on the tomahawk, secure the EX-T01 in its proper position. Once placed, a lever lock is manually engaged for safe carry. Although locked in tight, the system allows for rapid deployment.
