2 about ParaQuad NSW Products and Services ParaQuad NSW is a not-for-profit member-based organisation striving to support people with a spinal cord injury to achieve their choices in life. We are a registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status and after being formed in 1961, have been providing vital care, support and clinical services to people with spinal cord injuries, their families and carers for more than 50 years. In addition to providing mobility and functional support products and services to veterans in NSW since October 2004, through its trading arm of BrightSky Australia, we provide continence, wound care and other health related products to our large customer base. ParaQuad has developed systems and processes to efficiently manage the complexities of the DVA Mobility and Functional Support Contract ensuring the needs of the veteran and prescriber are met. ParaQuad uses in excess of 60 experienced independent local suppliers to promptly delivery equipment and services to all the major geographic areas of Australia. Orders are promptly allocated to the prescriber s preferred local supplier. ParaQuad offers prescribers the full range of services required under the contract including supply, hire, trial, repair and minor home modifications. Minor Home Modification Services ParaQuad has partnered with HenryCare to be their exclusive provider of Minor Home Modification Services to veterans across Australia. Henry Care provides fast and reliable service by using a sophisticated management system to carry out the work for Occupational Therapists (OT) resulting in minimal work required by the OT to meet the veteran s needs. HenryCare s system enables them to keep the OT informed of progress of the order from receipt of order through to job completion, by or facsimile. HenryCare will use the OT s preferred builder if the OT has nominated one or will allocate the work to one of their network partners in the area - anywhere in Australia.
