The material feels very comfortable and offers great drapability to the person who wears the gown. Furthermore the irregular fibre structure offers high breathability and water repellently during every surgical procedure. This double-layered material is used for drapes that cover surfaces or patients. High absorbency is offered due to the special structure of the NWF layer, while the polyethylene film creates a total barrier against liquids and bacteria. SMS WATER-REPELLENT NWF SMS is a high quality water-repellent material, which is very suitable for surgical gowns and drapes. The special 4-layer structure offers an optimal barrier for blood, liquids and bacteria. The extremely low weight of a SMS gown offers much comfort to its users. As the name already reveals, this fabric is highly waterrepellent and thus offers maximum protection to the patient. Furthermore drapes made out of this material are very lightweight and soft.
