17 Two tone finish The grained effect produced by our Glass Reinforced Plastic construction can be complemented even more with an oak or darkwood finish. 18 Solid grids The Door-Stop 2 panel 1 grid door design can feature a glazed unit with a solid internal grid. 19 Hurricane tested Door-Stop doors are tested in a pressurized chamber to simulate gusting winds starting at 63 miles an hour and up to 80 miles an hour, that s stronger than a hurricane. 22 Space saving When internal space is a premium you may not want to have the door opening inside. Door-Stop doors can be made to open to the outside, and with every one supplied with a concealed door restrictor not even a sudden gust of wind can damage your door. 4 panel outward opening in Darkwood gold stainless steel furniture ERA locking mechanism and low frame threshold ERA Lock The ERA lock option is our latest high security option. With a traditional mortice key the door doesn t need a locking cylinder because the key engages directly to the lock. No cylinder means no chance of your door being opened by a burglar snapping or bumping the cylinder. The lock edge of the door is then completely wrapped in a powder coated aluminum strip, top to bottom and front to back

Whilst the requirement in the UK is currently* to be G rated or better, each of our door designs can be configured to achieve a rating between A to C. 34 Edged detail Every sightline of a Door-Stop door is considered. Even for the edge that spends nearly all of its life concealed. On the hinge edge of every door we apply a grained trim, and then we countersink the hinges to make a perfect flush finish. Beware imposters You won t get many of these benefits on any other door. With all the unique features we offer, it s important to know that you ve got the real thing. Starting from September 2012, all of our doors carry an official stamp on the hinge edge near the bottom of the door. 64
