16 APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Table 1 Step By Step Instructions Of How To Apply The Tool Catch And Tether Tape STEP 1 Identify the correct Tool Catch for the tool to be tethered with a load rating greater than the net tool weight. Table 2 Examples In Use SPANNER STEP 2 Cut a length of Tech-Wrap Tape that will be long enough to wrap around the tool times and remove the backing strip. HAMMER STEP 3 Ensure the tool is free of contaminants that could compromise the bonding of the Tech-Wrap Tape. 21 20 APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Table 1 Step By Step Instructions Of How To Apply The Tool Choke Attachment To Your Tool STEP 1 Identify the correct Tool Choke for the tool to be tethered. For tools with a closed handle a Tool Choke without wings will suffice (H01055). For tools without an enclosed gripping section a Tool Choke with Wings is necessary. STEP 2 Pass the ring of the Tool Choke through the loop and choke around the tool. If securing a tool with a closed handle position the wing on a section of the tool that won t interfere with the tool operation. STEP 3 Apply Tech-Wrap Tape as described on page 16. STEP 4 Once the connection is complete, test the anchor point to ensure proper installation has taken place. Note: Remember to always inspect the connection prior to each use for damage or irregularities that might affect the connection.
