3 The Michigan Section of the American Water Works Association (MI-AWWA) represents more than 1,700 water professionals throughout Michigan. The environment in which water supplies operate continues to get more challenging. Yet through AWWA membership, water professionals have access to resources, a host of training and presentation opportunities, and expertise just an or phone call away. MI-AWWA strives to bring value to its members through high quality programs and services as well as fulfilling volunteer experiences. MI-AWWA is a member-driven organization with programs being developed for and by water professionals, many of whom volunteer their time and expertise. Others exemplify outstanding service to their communities and are recognized through the many awards offered through MI-AWWA. Thank you for your dedication to the water sector!
