This humble research deals largely with the troubles and tribulations of the service providers in the tourism industry with special emphasis on hoteliers and travel agents. The life-world of the tourism entrepreneurs is also taken into account in analyzing the huddles and suggestions are made in order to effectively overcome them encouraging private participation with the right modus operandi. The industry is seen as a system of operation which when rightly addressed by finding the root-causes for the problems rather than healing the symptoms could pave a new path in the arena of tourism sector. 52 Valene L.Smith Privatization in the Third world; Small-scale tourism enterprises Global Tourism,Ed.
