We will eat lunch and spend several evenings under this gigantic tree enjoying the scenery and recapping our day s activities and adventures.

12 Romantic Rhine River Villages Historical Germany Notice the tower at the end of the street; it s part of the old wall protecting the city. We brag about 100 year old buildings. This is the Neutor (new tower) finished in 1329.

13 Romantic Rhine River Villages We will visit 2,000+ yearold Bacharach, and spend a night in a 12 th century castle above the Rhine. Bacharach has numerous halftimbered houses, including the Altes Haus (oldest house) located on the right of the picture. It was built in 1368.

20 Berchtesgaden and the Bavarian Alps We took an electric boat ride on Lake Königssee in Berchtesgaden to visit St. Bartholomä pilgrimage church. The students took advantage of the opportunity to don their swimsuits and take a quick swim in the Lake. The water was clear, cold, and refreshing.
