Arrive in Aswan after lunch visit the Temple of Philae, built for the goddess Isis, and the granite quarries whose sne was used build Egypt s pyramids and obelisks. You may wish experience a late afternoon sail on a Nile felucca (traditional sailboat). This evening the captain hosts a gala dinner. Friday, January 6 DISEMBARK SUN BOAT IV / ABU SIMBEL, EGYPT / AQABA / PETRA, JORDAN Disembark and board a private plane Abu Simbel. Cogan is an associate at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
