Day 1 Sat 3/12 CAIRO Afternoon arrival and transferred to Nile Fairmont Heliopolis Hotel. Welcome dinner and group orientation. (B&D) Please arrive in Cairo on Saturday 3/12 by 5:00PM Day 2 Sun 3/13 CAIRO Morning depart to Luxor. Arrive and check-in at the Hotel Sonesta St George for one night. Visit Karnak Temple, one of the most impressive temple complexes in the world. They are working on the Shrine of Sekhmet and we will visit if possible. Sunset visit to Luxor Temple. (B). Day 3 Mon 3/14 FARAH NILE CRUISE - DENDERAH AND ABYDOS Check out of our hotel journey by bus to Denderah and the Temple of Hathor (goddess of love and joy). Experience the famous circular zodiac ceiling and the secret crypts with enigmatic images. Then on to Abydos, one of the most amazing sites in Egypt. These temples were universities of higher learning where art, sound, dance, astrology, sacred geometry and healing were taught. Return to Luxor and check into the Farah Nile Cruise See: for 4 Nights from Luxor to Aswan on full board basis. (BLD) Day 4 - Tues 3/15 WEST BANK AND SAIL After breakfast off to the West bank and experience the exquisite Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, one of the architectural masterpieces of the ancient world, Valley of the Kings with its deep subterranean tomb complexes and the Temple of Dreams at Medinet Habu. Return to our Cruise and sail through Esna Locks to Aswan. Evening Gallabia Party. (BLD) Day 5 - Wed 3/16 TEMPLE OF EDFU AND KOM OMBO Visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu. This magnificent Temple is one of the best preserved of all the temples, its inscriptions describe the mysteries of the "First Time". A library of ancient esoteric knowledge was once archived here. Sail to the Temple of Kom Ombo, the dual Temple of Horus (Haeroris, divine Hawk) and Sobek (crocodile god), which symbolizes the duality of our own higher and lower natures. Day 6 - Thur 3/17 OPTION ABU SIMBEL AND TEMPLE OF ISIS Optional visit to Abu Simbel dedicated to Rameses II and his beloved wife Nefertari. Those going will leave in the morning and will return at lunch time. Free time until lunch and then visit the Temple of Isis Philae in the afternoon. 5 Day 8- Sat 3/19 EGYPTIAN MUSEUM After breakfast visit the world famous Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and then a visit to the Citadel and Alabaster Mosque. (B) Day 9 - Sun 3/20 SAKKARA AND THE DASHUR After breakfast visit Sakkara and explore the Step Pyramid and healing complex designed by architect and initiate Imhotep including a visit to the new Museum. We will work with sound to unite the energies of Heaven and Earth. Lunch nearby at the Palm Club.
