The following information will help you plan your travel to the Tucson, AZ area. Register for this event at pctrip.hanover.com. Your airline arrangements and travel registration form should be completed no later than Friday, March 9, When completing your registration, be sure to note any special travel arrangements (e.g., medical considerations such as wheelchair accessibility, dietary requirements, pregnancy, etc.) Once you have completed your registration information, a Carlson Wagonlit travel consultant will call you within 48 hours to discuss/verify your air travel requirements. 4 Travel 4 Identification Requirements All persons traveling by air to Arizona will be required to present a valid, government issued, identification at the airport checkpoint in order to travel. Approved forms of identification would include: driver s license or other state photo identity cards issued by Department of Motor Vehicles (or equivalent), U.S. Passport, or military ID. Please note: When completing your electronic registration form, you must list first, middle, and last name EXACTLY as it appears on your government issued identification. This also applies to guests. Airline Information The Hanover s corporate travel team will coordinate airline reservations for each attendee and their guest. Once your online travel registration form is complete, we will contact you to discuss and secure your travel arrangements. Please note the following: All flights are based on President s Club program fare and guidelines. Upon receipt of your completed form, we will do our best to accommodate your air requests. Please be aware that our airline carriers are pre-selected with non-refundable and nontransferable tickets, and may include travel on a connecting flight. We will always review your flight options with you prior to ticketing. Once your flight is arranged, any changes you make thereafter will be considered a personal expense. If you are part of a frequent flyer program and would like to request an upgrade, please fax a copy of your certificates (front and back) to Carlson Wagonlit Travel at ( ), so we can expedite your request. For mileage credit, list your name on the online travel registration form exactly as it appears on your frequent flyer membership. Remember to pick up your boarding passes at a ticket counter or kiosk prior to going through security. You may also print your boarding pass online, within 24 hours of your flight departure time. In all cases, electronic tickets will be issued and your itinerary will serve as confirmation. At check-in, be sure to present your valid, government issued, photo ID and a copy of your itinerary.

5 Travel 5 Ground Transportation To/From The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain is located approximately 30 miles, or 45 minutes, from Tucson International Airport (TUS) and 100 miles, or 1 hour and 45 minutes, from Phoenix International Airport (PHX). We will provide transportation from either airport to the hotel on Wednesday, April 25. Upon your arrival, a uniformed representative will be located outside of the baggage claim area with signage for The Hanover Insurance Group President s Club. Transportation will also be provided from the hotel to the airport on Saturday, April 28. When confirming your flights, please note that approximate return departure times from the hotel back to the airport will be two hours prior to your flight departure for TUS and three hours prior to your flight departure for PHX. Actual departure times will be communicated to you on-site. If you are planning to travel outside the meeting dates, we recommend taxi travel or UBER type service as the most convenient and cost-effective way to travel to/from the airport. The approximate cost will depend on the airport and service utilized. Additionally, you may request sedan transfers directly through the Ritz-Carlton concierge by calling the hotel concierge at Should you prefer to rent a vehicle while in Arizona, the Carlson Wagonlit Travel Counselor will be happy to assist you with those arrangements. Please Note: The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain does not have a car rental location on-site; however, Enterprise Rent A Car will pick-up guests at the resort and bring you to their Oro Valley location, approximately 20 minutes away. For rental return, they will bring you back to the resort upon drop-off. The cost of a rental car is considered a personal expense. Valet parking is provided and included within the group resort fee.

As an honored guest of The Hanover, we will arrange your hotel accommodation, airfare, activities, designated meals, hotel baggage handling, applicable taxes and airport transportation as outlined above and as specified on your online travel registration form. Prior to completing your form, please review the following helpful information. Hospitality Area During your stay, Travel Directors from The Hanover will be available at the hospitality desk located on the Ballroom level. At this location, Travel Directors will post updated information such as schedules, bulletins, and activity information. You may stop by to have a Director assist you with arranging personal plans, provide answers to your travel questions, and confirm your daily schedule. 7 Helpful Reminders 7 Gratuities The Hanover will provide all gratuities for events sponsored throughout this program to include housekeeping and bellman for those nights being paid by The Hanover. Tax Reporting As a reminder, IRS regulations require that certain expenses for attendees and guests at conferences are reported as taxable income. For this conference, expenses that will be reported as taxable income will be the value of your guest s airfare and optional activities for you and your guest. For tax reporting purposes, it will be necessary to select either your agency tax identification number or Social Security number when you register. If selecting your agency tax identification number, it will be necessary to provide the last four digits of that number when you register. If you would like to use your Social Security number, we will ask for this information at time of airline booking. For security purposes, please do not enter your Social Security number when registering. Personal Expenses You may wish to use additional services not offered as part of this program. As a result, these charges will be considered a personal expense. Examples include laundry service, fitness center service, personal bar bills and personal calls. For your convenience, The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain Tucson accepts major credit cards including American Express, MasterCard, Diners Club, and Visa. Please Note: The hotel does not accept personal checks. Medical Information/Emergencies To ensure your safety and comfort while here as our guest, The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain provides internal and external security on a 24-hour basis. In the event of an injury, illness, or any other emergency, you may summon immediate assistance by dialing 0 on any house telephone. We ask that you promptly notify a member of The Hanover s event team as well. Children This program has not been designed for children. In the event that a child is traveling with you to Arizona, we ask that you please make alternate arrangements for air/ground expenses, meals and activities. In addition, based on the limited amount of guest rooms, we may not be able to confirm availability of an additional room to accommodate children. Maximum occupancy of each guest room is restricted to four people. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

8 Helpful Reminders 8 Valuables Safe deposit boxes are located at the front desk of the hotel. Please consider using these for jewelry, excess cash and valuable items. In-room safes are provided in each guest room. Check-in/Check-out Upon your arrival at the hotel, please proceed to the front desk to handle your registration. Please Note: Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Should you arrive before that time, guestrooms may not be immediately available. The hotel will make every effort to accommodate you regardless of your time of arrival. In the event that your room is not ready when you arrive, the hotel will gladly store your luggage and will direct you to The Hanover Hospitality area where you may relax until your room becomes available. On your day of departure, check-out time is 12:00 p.m. In the event you extend your check-out time, any charge incurred would be considered a personal expense. 9 Activities 9 You and your adult guest may each enjoy one activity or spa treatment per day (Thursday and Friday), compliments of The Hanover Insurance Group. Our travel experts have made special arrangements to accommodate all interests from a peaceful and rejuvenating spa treatment, to various recreational activities or tours of the surrounding area. Boxed lunch will be provided for all guests on Thursday and Friday (unless lunch is included as part of your selected activity). Optional activities are listed on the following pages.

Be immersed in the unspoiled splendors of the Sonoran Desert as a professional driver/guide, shifts into 4-wheel drive and brings to life the lore of this ancient land. Climb on board the open air vehicles and head out onto the desert trails caravan style to explore the pristine western landscape through a forest of cacti found nowhere else on earth. Guests will have a chance to stretch their legs for a short botanical walk to experience the desert up close and identify native cacti, desert flora and fauna. 13 TASTE OF TUCSON TOUR THURSDAY, APRIL 26 & FRIDAY, APRIL 27 12:15 p.m. 3:45 p.m. 13 Experience a Taste of one of the top gastronomy cities in the country through a walking foodie and cultural tour full of stories of downtown Tucson, delectable food and beverage sampling, and perhaps a special chef appearance and demonstration! Guests are taken downtown via deluxe motor-coach where you will meet with a knowledgeable guide who will share all of the fun and secrets of downtown Tucson. The following three hours, participants will find themselves walking and riding the modern Tucson streetcar to 4-5 different restaurants. Whether you re fascinated by history, architecture, or food culture, this is the tour that brings it all to life! Notes: Activity transfer time: 30 minutes. The majority of the museum is outside, allowing guests the freedom to enjoy the beautiful weather of Tucson in April while exploring its attractions. From Mountain to Riparian Habitats, parrots to prairie dogs, Cat Canyon to The Cacti and Succulents Garden, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum offers something for everyone along its two miles of paths traversing 21 acres of desert. 15 BEN S BELLS THURSDAY, APRIL 26 & FRIDAY, APRIL 27 12:45 p.m. 4:00 p.m. 15 The story of Ben s Bells is one of great inspiration in light of profound personal tragedy. The organization was founded in 2003 after the sudden death of Jeannette Maré s two-year old son, Ben. The simple everyday acts of kindness following his death helped Maré s family to survive and begin to heal. Jeannette was inspired to establish the Ben s Bells Project as a way to recognize and continue the kindness shown to her family. Hanover guests are invited to join this local effort to spread love and light throughout the Tucson community through a rewarding community giveback project. We ll visit the local Ben s Bells studio, where Hanover guests will assist in painting bells, forming clay beads, and assembling bells, all while learning more about the project and small acts of kindness. Guides lead the caravan of guests on horseback down the winding trails through the heart of the Sonoran Desert. 17 LEGEND S OF THE SOUTHWEST OLD TUCSON STUDIOS THURSDAY, APRIL 26 1:15 p.m. 5:15 p.m. 17 Experience Old Tucson, where legends come alive! Columbia Pictures chose this location in 1939 as a site on which to build a replica of 1860 s Tucson for the movie Arizona. This film, starring William Holden, set a new standard of realism for Hollywood westerns and initiated the move away from studio backdrop movies to outdoor epics. You ll become the star of your own Western adventure as you stroll back in time through this classic movie studio and experience the sights, sounds and excitement of the old west! On the shooting field both beginner and avid shooters are presented with a wide variety of targets that simulate the flight path of gamebirds, such as flushing, crossing, incoming and other angling shots. The owners and staff are so incredibly friendly, passionate about this sport, making them the ideal, world-renowned experts available to provide the full experience. 19 TAKING FLIGHT AT PIMA AIR & SPACE MUSEUM FRIDAY, APRIL 27 1:15 p.m. 4:45 p.m. 19 The Pima Air and Space Museum takes aviation and military history to new heights with an impressive collection of planes, memorabilia, uniforms, exhibit hangars and even a space gallery. More than 130 military and civilian aircraft are on display in this fascinating local treasure that makes this a unique, one-of-a-kind experience only found in Tucson. Expert docents facilitate a one hour private walking tour inside the hangars, providing guest with exclusive insights into the history of these storied planes and their pilots. 21 PAINTED DESERT THURSDAY, APRIL 26 & FRIDAY, APRIL 27 8:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. 21 Through easy demonstrations, guests are guided to create a unique watercolor painting. No experience or knowledge is necessary and all the supplies are included even the inspiration! Each guest receives a 5x7 canvas mounted on barn wood that can be taken home as a keepsake of their art adventure! Weather permitting, enjoy your painting experience under the desert sky as you look to the natural surroundings of The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain to create your watercolor masterpiece. Top off your morning in the desert with a refreshing mimosa as you soak up the Arizona sun and the desert beauty that surrounds you.

22 LOCAL EXPOSURE THURSDAY, APRIL 26 & FRIDAY, APRIL 27 8:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. No matter how long guests have been behind the lens, this workshop will assist in discovering hidden talents! Aspiring shutterbugs will enjoy this workshop that begins in a classroom format and continues as guests venture outdoors to discover Arizona s desert charm and capture memories on film. 22 Using their own camera, guests learn composition, lighting and creativity of photographs from our professional photographer, who will discuss and demonstrate various photographic techniques. After 30 minutes of photography basics, guests head out to practice their skills capturing photos of the breathtaking Sonoran Desert and beautiful Ritz-Carlton property that surrounds. Our desert photography excursion is designed to offer guests of modest fitness levels the opportunity to enjoy and capture the adventure at their own comfort level. *Participants must provide their own camera or cell phone.

24 THURSDAY, APRIL 26 8:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. DESERT FLORAL CREATIONS 24 Ever wondered how the centerpiece at your awards dinner table came to be? Or, how your favorite bloggers have flower arrangements that would make even Martha Stewart green with envy? Here s your chance to find out! Guests are invited to learn the art of flower arranging, and will complete a preselected activity, from wreaths to flower crowns, to walk away with their own unique piece. Choose from assorted flowers and fillers as our professional flower arrangers teach you their tricks of the trade.

25 GUIDED HIKE ANCIENT ROCK ART TOUR THURSDAY, APRIL 26 8:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. 25 We are not the first civilization to appreciate the beauty and majesty of the Southwest. In fact, people have lived in this area continuously for over 8,000 years, as evidenced by the petroglyphs found in Wild Burro Canyon. On this hike you will examine several Hohokam and archaic tribal sites, which contain rock imagery and morteros (grinding holes) where ancient people prepared their meals. Visit well known and secret locations where the ancient ones once lived and worked. This hike is mostly flat with minimal elevation change and is approximately 2.5 miles in length.

26 GUIDED HIKE CACTUS DISCOVERY TOUR FRIDAY, APRIL 27 8:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. 26 Witness a multitude of cactus varieties, walk amongst giant Saguaros and taste the bounty that is the Sonoran Desert. On this adventure you will navigate the Lower Javelina Trails, where you have the opportunity to sample different cacti, cacti fruit and other edibles, or sit atop Pride Rock and take in vast panoramic views of Wild Burro Canyon. This hike has rolling terrain with total elevation change of over 350 feet and is approximately 2.5 miles in length.
