Choose from Maine s three spectacular rivers the Penobscot, the Kennebec, or the Dead. PENOBSCOT RIVER: A drop pool river with spectacular and complex rapids dropping into calm pools of water. A class V whitewater run between the 90 foot walls of Ripogenus Gorge gives way to breathtaking views of Baxter State Park and Mt. Katahdin; Class lv rapids, surfing holes and natural water slide complete your day. This river offers class 1 - V rapids. Ages 6 and up depending on trip. rafting KENNEBEC RIVER: A deep water gorge and roller coaster waves for nearly six miles. With rapids like Magic Falls and the Alleyway this river offers some of the largest breaking waves in the Northeast. Lower River ages 7 and up, Full River: 10 and up. DEAD RIVER: Sixteen miles of continuous whitewater. Ten times a year this river comes screaming to life in a whitewater bonanza with rapids like Hayden s Landing, Big Poplar and the Mine Field. Spring and Fall have the biggest water flows. Age 15 and up

Katahdin as your backdrop and the possibility of wildlife sightings. FULL RIVER This high water adventure trip offers Class lll - V whitewater and a hearty riverside lunch. Age 15 and up. DOUBLE TROUBLES Twice the Class V fun. Do the upper Gorge twice in one day followed by a hearty riverside barbecue! This is one adventure no serious rafter should miss. Age 15 and up (selected dates) mother nature even she has her favorites LOWER RIVER Perfect for first time rafters who still want to experience whitewater fun. Class ll - lv. Ages 8 and up. HALF-DAY TRIPS Morning lower river trip for beginners and afternoon Gorge trips for the more adventurous. MOOSE SIGHTING GUARANTEE: If you don t see a moose, or your tour doesn t meet your every expectation..., just ask and the next one is on us. At NEOC, we want to exceed your expectations! FISHING Our local waters abound with smallmouth bass, landlocked salmon, and trout. Our guides are avid fishermen themselves and are experienced in spin casting and fly fishing. take a walk on the wild side HIKING Our lodging facilities are very close to the South entrance to Baxter State Park and Katahdin. With hikes that vary from beginner to expert, the choices are endless and we can help direct or guide you on a hike. Our lakeside and trailside cabins and Coveside Guest Houses at Twin Pine Camps have all the amenities of home: great character, all bedding and towels, complete kitchens, complete furnishings, thermostatically controlled heat, and free canoe use. Some come with additional amenities fireplace or woodstove for ambiance, satellite TV, spectacular lake or mountain views. All 16 cabins are open year-round.
