Cuti-cuti Malaysia Tioman Hotels Visit Pulau Pinang http://pulaupinang.org Lizzie asks Where can I do water sports in Tioman? I want to do other water sports other than snorkeling and diving at Tioman, e.g. wind surfing, water skiing, banana boat The only place I found that offers these sports is Berjaya Resort, but when I called them they said its usually only offered to hotel guests. Any suggestions? Tioman is a gazetted marine park, light water sport activities are allowed. These include boating, catamaran sailing and wind surfing. Jet skis, however, can sometimes be seen skimming across the waters, which is actually a banned activity in marine park areas in order to protect coral reefs, but Tioman is quite lax in enforcement. During the monsoon months, the large waves provide great fun for surf boarding with rain and thunder. Here i recommend you the hotels and resort that offer you these : a) Luxury hotels and resorts 1)Berjaya Tioman Beach, Golf and Spa Resort, Kampung Lalang (End of Tekek), 09-419 1000 2)Japamala Resort and Spa, Lanting (near Nipah), 609-419 6001 3)Paya Beach Resort, Kampung Paya, 609-419 7100 1 / 8

Where is best place to snorkel in Malaysia in November? I have been to Langkawi and Tioman before? via direct flight from Singapore, limited time so only for 3d/2n. Preferably 4 or 5 star hotel and Package deal The best choice with direct flight from Singapore will be Sabah in East Malaysia. Jetstar, Tiger Airways, AirAsia, Malaysia Airlines and Silk Air fly directly from Singapore to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. There s few 5 stars resorts to choose from, Karambunai, Shangri-La s, Sutera Harbour. For snorkelling, can go to the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park which consists of 5 islands, which is about 15 minutes boat ride from the mainland Kota Kinabalu. Visiting Pulau Tioman from Singapore? Hi, Can someone give me following inputs about Pulau Tioman? 1. Travel time to/from S pore including connections. 2. Travel cost (using bus/boat/air) 3. Staying options (decent accommodation and not a backpackers den) and costs. If you know the hotel phone number as well, it would be nice. Since my elderly parents will also accompany, I am looking for a good place to stay. 4. Approx time required for a decent sightseeing. Are 2 days enough, including travel to/from Singapore? 5. Costs to visit various attractions. Are prices negotiable or fixed? 6. If some travel agent in S pore provides nice service, pl let me know. Regards, I would strongly suggest you book the Tioman trip thru a travel agent in Singapore as you have 2 elderly parents with you. Tell the agency and let them suggest to you. One of those suitable for older folks can be Paya Beach. The travel agencies in Singapore for Tioman are mainly located at Beach Road and ChinaTown. Paul asks 5 / 8
Need help on TIOMAN please!!? Hi people..i will be arranging a group tour consist of 90 persons to Tioman Island. Based on your experience (if any), where is the best budget hotel/chalet that can accommodate my group comfortably? Preferably- -located on the beach side -near to beach bar to hoohaa at night -good food -good facilities (please describe) and is travelling & stay in Tioman during 25th to 27th October advisable? coz i heard that the sea will be rough during November. anything else that you can recommend me to do for the group.. thanx in advance to y all! aler..tak nak ar promo terang-terangan..kang ader yg panasss squarepants- ahaha..thanx for the compliment lol! bean- yeah, big time! big bonus for my raya..heehaw! Its always you who provided us all the useful travel s info/assistant, but now asking instead! Wow! Can t believe ma! I am very sure you know where to search for such info, with your experiences in this industry and your connection too, but would like to share something here. Have been to Tioman four occasion, still prefer Tekek. You have almost all the basic facilities like air-strip, bank, clinic, post-office, tarred road albeit a short distances only! But for a chalet to carter for 90 people at one go, i think it could be a problem, especially on food! Most of this chalets do not have such a big dinning area/cafe/restaurant, and you mentioned comfortably!! 6 / 8
Most if not all accommodation are situated very near to the beach. Never been to a beach bar at night because it defeat the purpose of visiting an island resort! Food are quite subjective n depend on individual but you can always try-out different option and different cooking. Very sure all of those chalets provide basic facilities as needed. Still dreaming of my fifth trip there but lack of vitamin m at the time being! Hope you n gangs enjoy the Tioman s holiday! Rain, shine, rough sea or what, Tioman worth the trouble! All the best!
