The museum occupies five buildings and has a collection of Western-European Art that includes paintings by Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Rubens, Van Dyke. The winter Palace is also part of the Hermitage. DAY 4: ST. Lunch at a local restaurant. Peter and Paul fortress Neva river cruise Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel. Catherine's Palace:Founded in 1718 as a summer residence of Russian Empresses. It was reconstructed several times in the XVIII-XIX centuries, due to which the interiors are in baroque, classical and rococo styles. During the Second World War, the palace was occupied and severely damaged. Some of the rooms were restored quite recently. Among them is the famous Amber Room. Peter and Paul fortress: The Peter and Paul Fortress is the original citadel of St. Petersburg, Russia, built in Domenico Trezzini's designs in 1740 as a star fortress. DAY 7: MOSCOW Highlights of the day: The Kremlin Armoury, The Diamond Fund, Nikulin's Circus The Kremlin Armoury Diamond Fund (Almazny Fond) Lunch at restaurant. Nikulin's Circus Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel The Kremlin Armoury: One of the oldest museums in Moscow, established in 1851 and located inside the Kremlin. It is now part of the Moscow Kremlin Museums. The Kremlin Armoury originated as the royal arsenal in 1508. The Diamond Fund: A unique collection of gems, jewelry, and natural nuggets, which are stored and exhibited in the Moscow Kremlin in Russia. The Fund dates back to the Russian Crown treasury instituted by Emperor Peter I of Russia in 1719. Nikulin's Circus: Located on Tsvetnoi Boulevard in the Tverskoy District of central Moscow. It was the only circus in the city between 1926 and 1971 and remains the most popular one.
