DAY 1 FRIDAY 09 FEBRUARY Sydney / Tokyo ITINERARY Sydney to Haneda Return Flight Depart: 9.30 PM ANA Flight NH 880 DAY 2 SATURDAY 10 FEBRUARY Discover Tokyo and Welcome Dinner D Arrive: 5.05 AM Tokyo Haneda International Airport It will be cold. After clearing customs and immigration you will meet your English Speaking Guide just to your right as you leave the exit. Your bags will be looked after and delivered to your hotel in the afternoon making for a relaxed day to get to know Tokyo. You will receive your Pasmo Card which has been charged with 2000 yen ($24AUD). The Pasmo Card is super convenient and can be use just about anywhere (trains, buses, taxis and shops) and is much easier than carrying cash. Please make sure this does not drop below 1000 yen. Check and top up your Pasmo card almost anywhere. Today we will join the men's and womens rugby team on a guided tour of Tokyo taking in all the iconic sights, sounds and experiences. Amongst them you will visit Tsukiji Outer Markets, Ueno & Asakusa, Kaminarimon, Sennsoji, Akihabara & Ameyoko. Wander back streets or take a rickshaw ride. Enjoy lunch at the many stalls and food outlets around. 2.30 PM Check into our accommodation at the 4 Star JR Jyushu Blossom Hotel (Twin/Double Share) conveniently located in downtown Shinjuku and only a 15 min train ride from where the teams are staying. Tonight we join the SUFC Teams and welcome you to a traditional Japanese Izakaya with all your favourites. An Izakaya is like a Japanese pub and has just about everything in the Japanese food line up. It will be set dinner menu. Alcohol is not included. You will join the teams plus our VIP guests from our hosts at Meiji University.
DAY 3 SUNDAY 11 FEBRUARY Exchange Match B/L/D 7.00 8.00 AM Enjoy the breakfast at your hotel. 8.30 AM Transfer to Meiji University Hachimanyama Rugby Ground which is (Synthetic surface) by train approx. 40 mins by train from your hotel. Fixture 1: 10.00 AM Sydney University Women s vs. TBC Fixture 1: 12.00 PM Sydney University Mens vs. Meiji A Team Lunch boxes will be provided. It is customary for the teams to warm down together after the match and also use the time to practice and/or exchange rugby IP. An interesting part of Japanese rugby culture. 3.00 PM Join the players and staff from both Sydney University and Meiji University and experience the amazing hospitality of a Meiji Rugby Welcome BBQ. An experience you will not forget. 5pm approx. Return back to your hotel. Rest of the afternoon/evening at your leisure. DAY 4 MONDAY 12 FEBRUARY Kamakura & Yokohama B/L 10.00 AM Depart for a full day sightseeing to Kamakura and Yokohama. Visit the sites of Yokohama and Kamakura. Just under an hour out of Tokyo Yokohama is Japan's second biggest city and was the first place opened up to the rest of the world after the long isolationist period 1869. Visit Sakeien Garden, Minato Mirai(Future Harbour), Go back in time at Ramen Museum and enjoy Yamashita Park and the Kirin Beer Factory. Kamakura is known as the Kyoto of the East. See the Great Buddha and Enoshima which is site of the Sailing for Tokyo Olympics games in 2020. Relax wandering around the endless temples and tea houses. Return to your hotel to freshen up and enjoy Shinjuku and the Tokyo night awaits. Dinner at your own leisure.

We have plenty of suggestions and ideas for you. 6.00 PM This evening, we will be joining the Men's and Women's Team tonight for a Japanese BBQ or Genghis Khan Dinner. SUFC Men's vs All Meiji which is a combined team of Meiji Old Boys who now play Top League who come back regularly to play with the best players from Meiji Ist's. Lunch will be Bento box. CONDITIONS OF BOOKING PLEASE READ CAREFULLY RESPONSIBILITY Gullivers Sport Travel Pty Ltd (which expression shall for the purpose of these conditions include and parents subsidiary affiliate or associated company and hereinafter shall be called the Company ) acts only as agents for the hotels, airlines, bus or car companies, railroads, steamship lines, or owners or contractors providing accommodation, transportation or other services, and all coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contacts and tickets issued by the Company are issued subject to any and all tariffs, terms and conditions under which any accommodation, transportation or any other services whatsoever are provided by such hotels, airlines, bus or car companies, railroads, steamship lines or owners or contractors. The Company shall not be liable or responsible for death of or injury to any person or loss of or damage to any property or otherwise (including baggage) whether due to its servants agents or employees negligence or otherwise arising out of or in connection with any accommodation transportation or other services or resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, dangers incident to the sea, hijack, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of governments or other authorities, de jure or de facto, wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations delays or cancellations of or changes in itinerary or schedules or overbookings or defaults, or from any causes beyond the Company s control or through the acts of default of the hotels, airlines, bus or car companies, railroads, steamship lines or owners or contractors providing accommodation, transportation or other services or for any loss or damage resulting from improper or insufficient passports, visas or other documents and that neither the Company nor its servants agents or employees shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses or liability sustained or incurred by the tour members as a result of any of the foregoing causes. All prices quoted are subject to change without notice having regards to unforeseen circumstances, foreign exchange fluctuations and variations in airline operating costs including but not limited to say an escalation of fuel prices. Unused services cannot be refunded or exchanged. The Company reserves the right to cancel the tour and/or modify the itineraries in any way it thinks desirable and further reserves the right to decline to accept any person or any tour and may substitute hotels where necessary. The issuance and acceptance or receipts, tickets, vouchers, coupons or travel orders shall be deemed consent to the above. Costs will also depend on availability of hotels quoted on at time of booking. These costs are subject to the group travelling together throughout the tour. Any variation will incur an amendment fee and may also jeopardise the costs for the rest of the group. Prices are based on the tour numbers stipulated on the itinerary. Any change in tour numbers will result in a revised tour price. NB. Cancelled rooms may result in 100% cancellation fees from hotels. Payments Schedule : Initial Deposit - At time of booking : $1500 per person (bookings will be made when deposit has been received in our office) Final Tour Payment - 2 month s prior to departure : balance per person (based on 15 participants). Interim payments are not required for any tour to New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Australia or Flight Only bookings. Cancellation charges per tour member: (Notice of cancellation must be made in writing) Time of booking - 6 months prior to departure : $750.00 per person 6 2 months prior to departure : $1,000.00 per person 2 1 month prior to departure : 50% of total tour cost (airport taxes are refundable) 1 month prior to departure and after commencement of travel : Nil Refund Please note there may be specialised inclusions in your tour such as Train Tickets, Theatre Show tickets, instant purchase airline tickets etc that are non-refundable in addition to the above Cancellation Charges. These cancellation fees are in addition to any cancellation fees that may be levied by our tour suppliers. Amendment Fee : Any person wishing to amend from the group tour arrangements will be charged a standard $100.00 amendment fee per person plus any additional charges involved with the amendment (increase in airfare, additional transfers, accommodation etc). Documentation: Australian citizens require a passport with minimum 6 months validity from date of departure from final destination. Other passport holders may require additional documentation. Please check your applicable requirements with our Travel Consultant. A copy of each person s passport is required. Baggage: Free baggage allowance one piece weighing maximum 20 kg plus 1 cabin bag (piece) of 115cm with a maximum weight of 5kg per person (please note these restrictions vary between airlines & depends on your destination). Luggage in excess of these limits will be charged for at the appropriate excess baggage rates. Baggage is the responsibility of the passenger at all times (Travel Insurance is strongly recommended). Insurance Protection: We strongly recommend you take out a Travel Insurance policy which is available from Gullivers Sport Travel. Policy booklets are available from Gullivers Sport Travel.
Billeting: If billeting is included in your itinerary, every attempt will made to secure billeting as per the itinerary. In the case that billeting cannot be secured additional costs will be incurred for accommodation required. Airline & Airport Taxes, Surcharges & Levies : Are not included in the tour cost as they are continually changing. Any of these charges imposed by the airline will be notified to you at the time of final payment 2 months prior to departure.
