Personal Effectiveness Seminar Logistics LOCATION The Personal Effectiveness Seminar will be held at the facility, 275 W 5th Ave, in downtown Eugene. Eugene is easy to get to by airplane, train, or bus. Several major airlines serve Eugene with direct routes from many cities. The airport has taxi and limo service into town. The train and bus depots are within walking distance of the facility. Please check with your travel agent for the best arrangements for you. PARKING NO parking in front of our building. It is TENANT PERMIT PARKING ONLY for all businesses facing 5th Avenue on this block. Suggestion: At the corner of Lincoln & W 3rd Ave. Average parking fee is $2.00/day. Exact change or personal check only. See map on next page. DAYS AND TIMES Please arrive at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. When you arrive please check in at the registration table. The seminar begins promptly at 9:30 a.m. The seminar schedule is as follows and exact ending times Thursday-Saturday may vary up to a half-hour: Thursday-Saturday Sunday Celebration 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We encourage you to invite family and friends to the celebration on Sunday. Children are welcome! WHAT TO BRING A pen or pencil. You will receive a three-ring binder with 8.5' x 11' paper. Snacks, non-refrigerated and sealed. A closable water bottle. A sweater or jacket for room temperature is 68 degrees. Money for meals. All cell phones and pagers are turned off before entering the seminar room. DRESS Feel free to dress comfortably and casually. You may want to bring a nicer change of clothing for the celebration on Sunday evening. BREAKS AND MEALS There are 10-15 minute breaks throughout the seminar, approximately every 1½ - 2 hours. You will have 1¼ hours for lunch and 1½ hours for dinner. At meals you will go with other participants to local restaurants with an assignment as part of the seminar process. POST-SEMINAR INTERVIEW A post-seminar interview is part of your seminar. A staff person will call you to schedule your interview. Interviews are done by phone or in person, with your Enrollment Coordinator, the week following the seminar.
