You sit in contemplative silence, nursing a herbal tea and take a moment to write down your thoughts into a journal or just sit and be present with yourself. You roll out your yoga mat and sit with the group in meditation before getting the blood flowing with a juicy vinyasa class. As the week progresses the yoga classes get a little longer and take you deeper along the path of personal exploration. You feel yourself letting ho of some things you have been holding onto. A N N A M A R S H N U T R I T I O N process what has come up for you before you sit down with the group for a breakfast or eggs, gluten free toast, banana pancakes and fresh fruit and Balinese coffee. The rest of the day is your to lounge by the pool, explore the beach or bustling shops and coffee shops of Seminyak or take part in one of the excursions on offer. Maybe you go to Ubud for the day, maybe you take a boat trip to one of the neighbouring islands and enjoy some snorkelling and lunch. If you are brave, you take the 5 hour night time trek up Mount Agung. If you stay at the villa a healthy lunch is served and there is more time to relax, explore or book a Balinese massage before an afternoon workshop or getting ready to go out for an evening meal. If you don't go out for a meal. delicious food is prepared and served by the incredible Chef. You sit around the table in the garden listening to the sounds of the evening, laughing, joking and sharing conversation with another 10 beautiful likeminded women. At the the end of the week you can stay on in Bali and explore the Gilli Islands or Lombok. Perhaps you decide to return home, well rested and mostly importantly, reconnected with yourself.

Not being a
remote location there are plenty of distractions available to make for a busy week and the opportunity to embrace Balinese culture. If your intention is to have some quiet time and distance yourself from the hustle and bustle the villa is located minutes from the beach where you can walk for miles and have plenty of space as you need it. There are opportunities to rent surf boards on the beach and if you want to book a surf lesson this can be arranged by the hostess at the villa. Che and I want to encourage you to set a clear intention of what you need to get from the week and align how you spend your time with that intention. CATERING AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS Dietary arrangements will be made with the villa based on the information provided by you closer to the time. We are able to offer a gluten and dairy free menu. Breakfast will be eggs, fruit and coffee and if everyone agrees an Indonesian cooked breakfast is available (it might be nice to alternate we can agree as a group on arrival). Vegetarian options will be available for those who specifically stated they follow a vegetarian diet, if you are pescetarian a vegetarian option will be available when meat is served. There is a health food shop in Seminyak for any speciality items you may need.
WHAT TO BRING Bali will be very warm even in the evenings. You will only want to be wearing shorts, vests and light breathable fabrics. However, if you intend to hike it may be slightly cooler so please bring something warm and waterproof. There are laundry facilities available at your own expense. Other items include: Active wear for yoga Swimwear Sun cream / Hat / Sunglasses Comfortable walking shoes for hiking Flip flops A couple of nice summer outfits for meals out and if you d like to dress for dinner Yoga mats will be provided but you may want to bring your own. CURRENCY AND SPENDING MONEY The currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) with 10 being approximately 170 000 IDR. The exact amount you ll need to bring will depend on the individual. There will be 2 evening meals out and one lunch that you will have to pay for. Alcoholic drinks are quite expensive so if you intend to drink alcohol you will need to budget more for these meals. Please do not bring alcohol to the villa. I'd recommend about 400 000 600 000 IDR for a meal out or more if you intend to have alcohol with your meal. The shops in the area are pretty incredible. If you love clothing, jewellery, shoes or swim wear you may want to come with a bigger budget. Also consider the following: You may also want to budget money for spa treatments between 90 000 and 300 000 IDR per treatment. Drinks or snacks if you go to the beach (A fresh coconut is between 25 000 to 50 000 depending from where you buy) If you intend to do the boat trip the cost may be about 100 USD (1 300 000 IDR). PHYSICAL PREP FOR YOUR TRIP YOGA Che is an amazing yoga teacher able to accommodate for all levels. That said, we encourage you to establish a regular yoga practise (at least once a week) a minimum of 3 months before the retreat so that the group can move together. Modifications can be provided for injuries. The style of yoga is vinyasa flow which can be dynamic and physically challenging at times. Please come physically prepared. SUNRISE HIKE Subject to availability we may offer the opportunity to climb Mount Agung. If it is your intention to do so, please come physically prepared. The trek is 5 hours long starting at 1am, it is not for the faint hearted. It demands a high level of physical and mental fitness. It is also incredibly rewarding and worth training for. The group will need to keep pace to make the sunrise. If you are not physically able to make it to the top, you will have to wait on the mountain until sunrise. The guides do provide camp fires andyour delicious banana fritters. You will RATE NUTRITION to carry your own water and any ON want Aother SCALE OF 1-10: snacks.
FINANCES, PAYMENTS AND T&C'S TOTAL INVESTMENT 997 - Triple Room 1097 - Double Room HOLIDAY T&C's In paying your deposit for the Bali retreat you agree to the terms and conditions listed below. To reserve your place in the retreat you may pay a minimum deposit of 250. The remaining 747 or 847 (should you wish to reserve a double room) must be paid in full by the dates stipulated below. Full payment must be made before 27th July 2017. Bookings made within this period will be invoiced for the full amount. Payment can be made by bank transfer. When requested we can issue a PayPal invoice but this will incur a surcharge of 3.5% You are responsible for booking your own flights. Insurance: Before you come on the holiday you must be covered by insurance, which must include cover for baggage, medical RATEadequate YOUR NUTRITION and the cost of repatriation ON A expenses SCALE OF 1-10: should you become too ill to continue.
It is up to each individual to ensure that their insurance is adequate for the holiday they have booked. If you join the holiday without insurance you may not be allowed to continue on the holiday, with no right of refund. Make sure you have adequate travel insurance, both general medical and for any activities you may participate in. Cancellation policy: If you cancel your booking more than 3 months before departure we will not refund your deposit, but you may if you wish transfer your deposit to another product or service offered by Anna Marsh Nutrition. Due to the international nature of this retreat and the increasing difficulty to fill spaces the closer we get towards departure date, if you cancel your booking after you have paid in full the following cancellation charges will be made: between 120 and 150 days: 30% of the holiday cost. between 90 and 120 days: 50% of the holiday cost, between 0 and 90 days: 100% of the holiday cost These dates refer to our receiving written notification of your cancellation. Any information or advice provided by the Company on matters such as permits, visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, special equipment, airlines and travel connections etc. is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of the Company, and the passenger accepts responsibility for obtaining any necessary visas and travel documents required for the holiday.
