Tri Parish Hall of Fame Collection 1 TRI PARISH HALL OF FAME COLLECTION (1996-2006) Processed September 2010 Bio/History Note The Tri Parish Hall of Fame was organized in 2004 to select and honor individuals who have succeeded in their life s endeavors in Lafourche, Terrebonne, and Assumption Parishes in the areas of education, agriculture, business, government, politics, medicine, sports, and the arts. The first governing board members included Warren L. Authement-President, Carl Heck Jr.-Vice president, Ricky Pitre-Treasurer, Eddie J. Hebert-Executive secretary, and Howard Robichaux. Honorees were chosen by the board and then presented with a certificate at an informal luncheon. Scope and Content This collection covers two and one half linear feet and spans 1996-2006. It consists of ceremony programs, framed certificates, VHS tape, biographies, resumes, correspondence, and newspaper articles.
