We have a great time and it is good to catch up and talk about the good old days at Qantas. Robyn and I would love to invite all members to our neck of the woods, we are having a cruise on the Nepean Belle Paddle Wheeler on the Nepean River with a lunch on Wednesday 7 th March 2018. A deposit of $25 will be collected at the Christmas Party. Payments can also be made direct to the Club s Qudos Bank account (details are on page 1 of this Newsletter). I would once more like to express my gratitude to the QUDOS Bank for their continued support in the funding of the Club s activities. Number 160 Page 4 VALE CAMPBELL Ian Dickie CHRISTIE Edward (Ted) Dixon GUDMUNDSON Arthur Graham RITCHIE Gladis Blodwyn SUMMARY OF VALE NOTICES IAN CAMPBELL 10/03/1940 18/09/2017. Ian was with Qantas for over 49 years and died this week aged 77. He had joined Qantas at aged 16 as an Apprentice Aircraft Engineer in Hydraulics, and subsequently became a Leading Hand. He worked on the Super Connie and the original Avro as an apprentice. His photo hung in the Hall of Fame at Mascot for many years as he had been top apprentice in his 2nd last year and runner up in his final year. He moved to Planning at aged 26 and retired in 2005 after 49 years service. He also attended TAFE during his apprentice years and obtained his Leaving Certificate, intending to attend university to study metallurgy but had to give that up to help his mother nurse his dying father. At TAFE he obtained several diplomas and Certificates in Management, Procurement and Supply. and Production Planning, among others. In his 50s he attended UTS and was awarded a Bachelor of Technology at the age of 57. At the time of his retirement he was Principal Planner on the 707s. EDWARD (Ted) DIXON CHRISTIE 1922 20/10/2017 aged 95 Late of Miranda, formaly of Caringbah and Balgowlah. Dearly loved and devoted husband of Shirley. Devoted father and father-in-law of Wendy and David, Debra and James, Gary and Jayne. Much lived and loving Pa of Lisa and Hamish, Ben and Amy, Mason Jackson, Amy, Mitchell, Elliot and Naomi ARTHUR GRAHAM GUDMUNDSON 17/06/1929 26/09/2017 aged 88 Known as Graham was born on the 17th June 1929 and passed away peacefully on Tuesday 26th September 2017, aged 88 years. He worked in Cabin Services from November 1956 until June 1984 when he retired. At the end of his employment he was a Flight Service Director. Qantas was his life. He talked fondly of his days travelling the world until the very end. He was still planning his next trip in the days before his death. We all pray he is now flying high with the angels. GLADYS BLODWYN RITCHIE 1921 8/11/2017 aged just short of 96 Gladys passed away peacefully on 8th November 2017. Loved daughter of Stan and Gladys (both deceased). Loved wife of Bert Ritchie (deceased) (Bert was the CEO of Qantas from 1967 1976) Best friend and sister of Gweneth (deceased) Gladys was an active committee member of the Qantas 20 Club before it was disbanded and on Retirement, the Qantas Retired Staff Club Qantas new 787-9 arrived at Mascot Jet Base 20th October 2017-Photo by Bob Thomas

Instead, you ll need to perform these refunds using the Leisure Travel > Offline Refund Request option in our new Staff Travel system. For more detail on how to process your refunds, log in to sto.qantas.com, click on Document Library and search for refund. You can also read the recent employee FAQs which contain further info on how to process refunds for any bookings made in the new system.
