This session is an opportunity to discuss these important concerns while providing valuable airport resources to better understand any impact these may have and how best to manage them. II. Pavement Maintenance and Management (Dallas Ballroom D3) Ed Oshinski, P.E., TxDOT Aviation Division Tom Freeman, P.E., Texas A&M Transportation Institute This session will include a discussion of airport asset management and airport pavement management. It will include what TxDOT Aviation has been doing, what we have learned, and what airports need to do. There will also be time for questions and answers. 3

No formal presentations will be made during the session, but the panel members will share their experiences and thoughts on questions and issues brought up by the moderator and those attending this session. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions about any issues and concerns at their airports. The ipledge Safety Program Saving Pilot s Lives (Dallas Ballroom B) Mike Orf, Director, Texas Aviation Association and TXAA Foundation, Inc. Jim Rank, Director and Treasurer, Texas Aviation Association and Director, TXAA Foundation, Inc. TXAA Foundation, Inc., the education and safety arm of the Texas Aviation Association, introduced a program in 2013 designed to remind pilots to avoid the most-frequent causes of general aviation accidents. The program, called IPLEDGE, consists of six safety reminders for pilots, each reminder beginning with the letters P-L-E-D-G-E. IPLEDGE is available to pilots, airport owners/ managers, and FAA Safety Team Managers in a variety of forms, including business-card size, instrument panel placard, hang tag, bulletin board poster, and t-shirt. The TXAA Foundation, in partnership with TxDOT Aviation, is publishing and distributing the IPLEDGE materials around Texas at pilot safety events. 4

Aircraft Fueling and Line Service Upgrading Your Fuel Farm, Vendor Selection, Fuel Pricing, and FBO Marketing (Dallas Ballroom D3) Jason Milewski, Airport Manager, Victoria Regional Airport Melissa Frazier, General Manager, Victoria Jet Center Whether you are contemplating a new fuel system, trying to decide on a fuel vendor, having questions about how to price your fuel, or wondering how you can better market your FBO, this session is for you. A wide range of topics pertaining to fueling and line service will be addressed during this session which is designed to bring clarity to these issues for airports of difference sizes, roles and governance structures. III.
