Week 1 ARRIVAL Meeting at the airport and transport to FREE DAY WITH GROUP LEADER Students will take an afternoon tour around Oxford City Centre including the old Covered Market, passing the Bodleian Library Visit to Christ Church College, Oxford University. This is the largest college at the university and home to a magnificent cathedral Visit to Windmill, one of the few examples of a restored and working windmill in the UK. Sports afternoon Football, rounders, table tennis and badminton Visit to New College, Oxford University, one of the oldest and most beautiful of the Oxford Colleges 1
Week 2 09.00 19.00 (approx.) London London tour, including the historic heart of the capital. The tour will pass through Buckingham Palace, Horseguard s Parade, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery. The day will be completed by a cruise along the River Thames. FREE DAY with group leader 14.00 16:30 Movie at the school Enjoy a movie at the school with your friends. Museums in Oxford Visit to the world famous Ashmolean Museum. Bowling Students will be taken to the 10-pin bowlplex for an afternoon of bowling 14.00-16:30 Laser Tag Zap! Zap! zap! Week 3 Stratford and the Cotswolds Visit the beautiful town made famous for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare: Stratford Upon Avon. In Stratford we will enter his birthplace and tomb. After this, we will explore the Cotswold village of Bourton-on the-water nicknamed little Venice of the Cotswolds. 09.00 19.00 (approx.) Stonehenge and Bath Stonehenge is a known throughout the world as an ancient and mysterious monument. Discover some of the known facts about the historic site for yourself, while experiencing the unique atmosphere that surrounds it. Bath, in contrast, has been a popular market town for many hundreds of years. The Roman Empire harnessed its unique natural resource of hot spring water. 10.30 14.30 UK PUBLIC HOLIDAY Blenheim Palace: this magnificent palace is the birthplace of Winston Churchill and is the most beautiful palace in the U.K. Games at the School Garden games, board games, even language games. Good opportunity for students to relax after classes. Week 4 Thorpe Park Amusement On your last weekend in the U.K. Take an exciting journey to the magical Thorpe Park for a thrilling ride full day. FREE DAY with group leader. Good opportunity for students to relax after classes. 13.30-16.00 Ice Skating Join together for a fun filled afternoon skating in Oxford. 13.30-16.00 Creative activities at the school.
