October 2017 Teaching Student Engagement CPA Australia Discover your Career Path Session for Postgraduate students Darien Canepa, Relationships Manager Education, from CPA Australia s Adelaide office, visited Flinders at Victoria Square on Wednesday 11 October to provide postgraduate students with information about career pathway options and how the CPA designation can help students to achieve their career goals. The session covered a comprehensive overview of the CPA Program, the subjects and electives studied and how the qualification is recognised both within Australia and internationally. Students can join the CPA Australia Network to keep up to date with graduate and internship opportunities, attend networking and other events, gain career advice from a career mentor and keep up to date with industry insights. International Recruitment Dr Thanh Le, Senior Lecturer Dr Le visited Vietnam in early October to meet with staff and students from the National Economics University and the University of Economics and Law to explore and create opportunities for engagement with including short-term summer programs, visiting scholar and articulation programs. While visiting Vietnam Dr Le presented information about at Thuyloi University and the Gear-up Club and met with a large number of study agents to strengthen the profile of following our recent incountry relaunch. 1 P age
