Before using one of the grills to prepare dinner, make sure you take a short trip on the Cumberland Shadow Trail or visit Quadrule Falls. You can also take a night time swim in the lake or fish! Saturday: The next morning, head to Kingdom Come State Park (606) 589-2479 and experience the 14 hiking trails & 4 mountaintop overlooks that the park offers. You can also visit Log Rock, a natural sandstone bridge, and Raven Rock, a giant rock exposure that soars 290 feet into the air! There are plenty of picnic spots for a packed lunch. Saturday: It s time to get the real Justified, experience in Harlan, KY. To start your day make arrangements at the Putney Campgrounds (606) 573-9009 to kayak on the Cumberland River. The Cumberland River Band is named after this waterway and they have songs featured in Justified. After having lunch at one of our local restaurants, head to The Harlan Country Club (606) 573-2510 where you can see the clubs grounds and play a round of golf. The Sandy Beach Country Club is based on this club and golf course. Next, travel to downtown Harlan where you can take a self-guided walking tour of the place that inspired the show Justified. Be sure to stop by the Harlan County Coal Miners Memorial Monument!
