Camp 2015 Camp Policies By registering for camp, you agree to abide by all rules set forth by Mid- South Foursquare Camp. Attendance is required at services. You must respect other people s property. You must adhere to the dress code. No hazing of other students will be tolerated. No electronic games, CD/cassette players, ipods, radios, laser pointers, DVD players, televisions, laptop computers, or cell phones allowed. You must give all prescription medicines to the camp nurse/medic at check in, who will administer them as prescribed. You are not allowed to leave the campground without approval of the Camp Director will be dismissed from the camp upon his or her return. In addition, local authorities will be notified. We restrict the use of vehicles operated by campers who provide their own transportation. No camper will be allowed to leave the property after check- in, unless a parent has contacted our office and made prior arrangements. You are not allowed in any cabin/dorm except your own. You are not allowed outside the cabin/dorm between lights out and 7:00 a.m. You must obey Grounds Monitor and all camp staff. No smoking, matches, or fireworks allowed. No tobacco products, alcohol, drugs, or weapons allowed. Serious offenses such as possession of banned substances (drugs, alcohol, tobacco, firearms, etc.) will be expelled from camp and will be reported to local authorities. No PDA (public display of affection)
No pets allowed. In addition, students and their parents/guardians will be held fully responsible for any damage caused to Church property, transportation to and from camp, and Campgrounds. The Discipline Policy: Every effort will be made to address and correct the behavior, including the involvement of the camper s youth pastor, senior pastor, and the Camp Director. If necessary, the camper will be sent home. Refunds will not be issued for camp dismissals. Lice Policy: Lice is virtually impossible to treat in a cabin community such as camp. Therefore, if a student is found to have lice, we will have to ask that they be picked up from camp, treated, and be nit free for 48 hours before returning to camp. No refunds will be issued. Please check your student before coming to camp Visitors are allowed on the campgrounds with the camp director s approval. What to bring: - A Good Attitude - A Refillable Water Bottle - Bible, Notepad, and Pen - Dirty Clothes Bag - Insect Repellent - Light jacket (who really knows) - Modest Clothing - One- Piece Bathing Suit and Cover- Up - Sheets/Linens/Sleeping Bag/Pillow (Bunks are twin- sized) - Soap, Shampoo, DEODERANT, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, etc. - Shampoo and Hairdryer - Spending Money - Sunscreen - Towels and Washcloths - Watch

Dress Code: Campers are expected to show modesty and maturity in the way they dress. The general rule is that campers must be dressed MODESTLY. If what you have chosen to wear is not considered modest, then you will be asked to return to your dorm and select something appropriate. If you have questions, please ask your Dorm Monitor or Pastor. Females _Short shorts are not allowed. Shorts must have at least a 4-inch inseam. _Tank tops, Spaghetti strap, strapless, halter, mesh, and midriff tops are not allowed. We don t want to see your underwear or your belly. _Tight-fitting garments are not suitable for camp. _Modest swimming suits are required. If you don t have a one-piece, you must swim with a dark T-shirt covering your bathing suit. _Wear a swimsuit cover-up (or wrap yourself in a beach towel) to go to and from the pool. _Swimsuits are not allowed in the dining hall or meeting rooms. _Clothing that promotes sin or a sinful lifestyle is not allowed. Do not wear anything that promotes a band, movie, event, or product that is questionable. _Shoes must be worn when outside the dorms. (Water socks are recommended in the pool.) Males _Muscle shirts are not allowed. _Modest swimming suits are required. No speedos (you know what we mean).

Do not wear anything that promotes a band, movie, event, or product that is questionable. _Baggy shorts and pants are not allowed. We don t want to see your underwear (even those boxers) and we don t want it covered up by those long shirts, either. Here s the test: Jump up and down for 2 minutes with your hands in the air. If you lose your pants, you need a belt. _Shoes must be worn when outside the cabin. (Water socks are recommended in the pool.) Dorm Room - No horseplay - No going through each other s belongings - No Pranks - Rooms must be cleaned daily, Vacuumed, Beds made, area clean tidy and neat. - Dorm leader bedroom, restroom and belongings are off limits. Meals/Snacks - You should pack some snacks for the whole week. - Meal times will be at 8:00a, 12:00p, and 6:00p. - The snack bar will be open 3 times a day in case you would like some candy or sodas. You may want to bring $3-5 per day for concessions. - No lunch will be served on Monday or Friday. Free Time - During free time we will stay together as a group. We will work and play as a group. - No student will be permitted to be off on there own or with other groups with out a registered HYPE LEADER - Not listening to camp Rules & HYPE rules can result in dismissal (parent will be responsible to Pick up there child) - Refunds will not be issued for camp dismissals. - before lights out, we will have dorm devotions. Not optional. Every student and leader will be in attendance.
First Aid / Medical Treatment _Prescription Medication Junior and Youth campers are not allowed to have prescription medication with them (except for inhalers). All prescription medicine must be given to the camp nurse/medic at check-in. The nurse/medic will administer the medication as directed. At the end of camp, the nurse/medic will return the medicine to the Junior/Youth. _Medical Treatment - A medical information card with a parent/guardian signature is required for each Junior and Youth camper. Junior and Youth who need medical treatment due to injury or illness may see the camp nurse/medic for treatment or (if minor) may be treated by any member of the camp staff. _Church Representative Each church should identify a representative who will, if needed, accompany an injured camper to the Emergency Room for treatment. This representative will be responsible for communicating with the child s parents/guardians and for reporting back to the Camp Director. Telephone Service at Camp Mobile Phones At this point there is very little service at the campground, it depends on your provider. There are a few pockets within the campground where you can get service.
Registration Forms This link provides you with: A form to register all campers from your church, along with the pricing you will pay to Foursquare Camps. (You may choose to add a surcharge for your in-house costs, e.g. funding monitors, but the price listed is what you will owe. Pricing is not detailed on other registration forms.) Individual dorm camper registration form, ages 9 and above. Private room registration form for families with young children. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE!!!!!! As you register your campers, remember that you must provide a dorm monitor regardless of the number of junior-youth campers, and an additional monitor for every 7 campers. This is a necessity to meet State and camp guidelines for adult supervision. Thank you for your cooperation! Dorm monitors must complete an application and be approved by Camp Director prior to being accepted. No private rooms will be given to singles even if someone cancels you will need to move to the dorms there is a waiting list for families in the private rooms.
