Fairfield Central is a bustling suburban shopping centre located in Idalia, just 7km from Townsville CBD.

Introduction Currently home to a Woolworths Supermarket and 12 supporting specialty stores, Fairfield Central has performed exceptionally well with low vacancies and high yielding sales figures since opening. Recent additions to the complex include a Woolworths Plus petrol station and stand alone drive through Zarraffa s cafe. Stage 2 of Fairfield Central is currently under construction with Kmart secured and opportunities for another 25 (approximately) specialty shops. Stage 2 is anticipated to open in late 2015.

The Location Idalia is a suburb on the southern outskirts of the Townsville CBD precinct and has undergone a significant transformation over the past decade with the housing development Fairfield Waters turning it into an affluent, family friendly hub. Currently home to over 70,000 residents, this figure is set to climb significantly as the master planned Delfin Rocky Springs project, less than 10km from Fairfield Central, will see an additional 35,000 residents relocate to the area. Fairfield Central is easily accessible via The Bruce Highway and Lakeside Drive and is close to Townsville City, Lavarack Barracks, The Townsville Hospital and James Cook University.
