On your doorstep Suffolk is one of the most beautiful counties in the UK surrounded by 50 miles of glorious coastline and full of charming villages and medieval towns to explore. One of the most popular nearby destinations is the traditional coastal resort of Aldeburgh, famous for its connection with Benjamin Britten and characterised by the rows of 19th century holiday villas lining the promenade.
