The Warm Up! Friday ride options Note: All Friday morning rides are guided, and will conclude at Red Shores, Eastlink Centre, where lunch will be provided. Purchases will be labeled and taken back to the Gran Fondo Village for pickup. We suggest bringing some money for the Victoria By the Sea ride, oportunities for snacks and coffee exist! Long route: Victoria By The Sea (Argyle Shore) Distance: 94K km shore-side loop Terrain: Hilly. Climbing: 755m Level of difficulty: Advanced, limited group size. FAQ The answers to some of the most common questions you may have when you are coming to ride with us! Where do we check in and register? All GranFondo riders can check in at the GranFondo Village at the Eastlink Centre. Address is 58 Kensington Rd, Charlottetown. Red Shores Entrance. Please check out the Schedule for when the GranFondo Village and participant check in is open. Participant wrist band IDs will co-ordinate with bike tags to facilitate secure storage of owner's bikes at the Fondo Village as well as indicate inclusion at designated eating establishments. A limited number of extra banquet tickets can be purchased for non riders at the registration desk. What if I experience a mechanical during my ride? It is advised to be equipped with a mini tool and the necessities to repair a flat. Saturday s ride will have an aid vehicle but help may take some time. It s always best to be self sufficient. We want to ride next year, what are the dates for 2018? We would love to have you come ride with us next year! Our event is the last weekend in August every year, making it the 24th to 26th for 2018! I am not sure about the sizing of the jerseys and hope we selected the right size. Are they unisex sizing? We now have both men s and womens s cut designs. We do order some extra for some flexibility. We will do our best to look after your needs! I'm interested in learning more, where do I sign up for a mailing list? We understand that in life, not everything goes as planned. We have a fair refund policy that gives you fair value, but also lets us commit. Ride with us next year and you don't miss out on a dime! REFUND POLICY 75% refund until June 1st or deferral to next year 50% refund from June 1st to Aug 1st or deferral to next year No refund after Aug 1st; however we will defer to next year up until 7 days before the event
