MISSING SANTA By Allyson Lindsay December 8, 2006 Wyndmere, ND Santa's missing, where could he be? He was last seen at the North Pole. We have everybody who knows him looking for him. He was last seen wearing a red jacket and red pants, a black belt, and black boots. Mrs. Claus is so sad she is calling everybody she knows and asking them if they have seen him. His reindeer came back and not Santa. If you see him please call 1-800-5808. MISSING SANTA By Lisa Vosberg December 8, 2006 December 8, 2006 Wyndmere, ND. There was horrible news for boy and girls! It was discovered by this reporter that Jolly Old Saint Nick was nowhere to be found. When I interviewed his wife, Mrs. Claus said that she had not seen him for four days. She was upset because this never happened before. The elves had been searching for days but they never found him. As of this time no clues have been found. Last time he was seen he was wearing black boots, belt and a red coat with white fur. Santa has a long white beard and is usually wearing a red stocking cap. Listen for a Ho Ho Ho. He is usually driving his sleigh with a lot of gifts in it. If you see a shiny red nose in the sky he is probably up in the sky. Chimneys are a good place to look or you could set out some milk and cookies to see if he will come for them. Your help is needed to help find Santa or there will be no Christmas this year. If you have any information or have found Santa please call his number 242-2987. Will you help find Santa and save Christmas?

SANTA IS MISSING By Madison December 5, 2006 Wyndmere, ND One day I got a call from my cousin, she had heard that Santa Claus was missing. He is my grandfather. I wonder where he could have gone. My father and I went down to the police station, and on our way there we saw cop cars flashing, sirens blowing, people running in the streets, and Amber alerts flashing because Santa Claus was missing. We just turned around and went back home to tell my mom about it. She was on the phone with my grandmother Mrs. Claus. She said she was watching television earlier and a news report came on from local news and international news too. Later that night I went outside to swing on the swing to get my mind off of all the tragic drama going on. Suddenly I heard a noise from up above but, it was just my dad trying a new sleigh out. The next day it was still very crazy. Now no one will hear from Santa again I thought. The next day my friend Alexis and I went outside to take a walk to get our mind off of the missing Santa. Suddenly we heard a noise from up above it was Santa. He sat down to talk with us he said it was so cold up north so that he needed to go somewhere warm down south. Now he said he has to go back up to the North Pole to get ready for Christmas in a few weeks. So I told everybody and they are all very happy.

SANTA S.O.S BY Cody Strege December 8, 2006 Santa went missing inwyndmere, North Dakota. He was last seen December 15, 2006. What will we do without Santa? Our kids will be so sad. Mrs. Clause and the reindeer are out looking for him. The elves do not know what toy goes where and what toy to make. Everyone keep an eye out for Santa. What's next, Mrs. Clause and the reindeer and the elves go missing too? I hope not. Santa was last wearing a red suit, black boots and a red hat. If found, call 555 Santa or E mail us at www.where is Santa.com. SANTA SOS By Bryan December 8, 2006 Wyndmere, ND Santa was handing out gift to kids. He was going from house to house. When he got to one house, he was putting gifts under the tree and he heard a noise on top of the house. He hurries putting presents under the tree. He went to the roof the slay was missing. He looked at the snow he saw kid footprints. He looked up and the sleigh was up in the air. He whistled. His deer came to him and he said good night to the kids. Then Santa went home. THE END

SANTA'S GONE MISSING By Moriah Willis December 8, 2006 December 12, New York, Santa has gone missing and nobody knows where he is. People in Chicago, Orlando, Bismarck, and in many other cities in the U.S. are looking for Santa. We have the NYPD looking in Alaska, Kansas, and in Wyoming, because that's where we heard him last, and we want to find him so Christmas can go on. If we don't find Santa, lots of people in the U.S. will go out of business because Santa buys lots of toys from these stores. The elves that were making the toys can't because they were arrested for making the toys dangerous for the children. A little boy named Mark saw sparks in the sky and we think it is from Santa's sleigh. We are getting one step closer to finding Santa. Will we let the elves go? Will we find Santa? We don't know. As of now we have no leads. Christmas may be canceled!

SANTA'S MISSING By Victoria Bladow December 8, 2006 New York, NY Is Santa missing? I had just gone outside and my dad came running. He said, My dad is missing, come inside right this instant! I said, Granddad is missing, you're lying right? Dad said, I'm not lying. It is true. I would not lie about my dad missing So finally, I believed him. When he said that Santa Clause (my granddad) was missing I was ready to faint. On the 1st of December he had gone missing. My dad decided not to t ell me. My sister Megan had always wanted to know why daddy was never home on Christmas Day. My dad, mom, Sammy, Elizabeth, Robert, and I decided not to tell Megan, Michael her twin, Isabella the baby, that Santa was real until they are 12 like me. They don't believe in SANTA CLAUSE. Of course I had to help find him. So before I left I called Grandma at 1-800-987-654-321-Santa-Clause. Grandma knew that I was a good spy. When I got there, I started. We called the NATIONAL GUARD and asked them to put him on AMBER ALERT. They laughed their heads off. We later went on a walk and a little girl came outside and asked us what we were doing. I told her for my granddad. She asked, does he have a red suit? I said yes. She had already found him and everything was back to normal.

WHERE DID SANTA GO? Abby Ann Braaten December 8, 2006 December 3rd, Barney, ND. Where did Santa go? There has been an amber alert out. He was last seen wearing purple with hunters orange striped pajamas. The elves think he should be quite visible. We need some clues before it is too late. Just think about all of the kids that would wake up on Christmas day and find nothing in their stockings. He only has half of the toys made. The latest he can be found is the 10th of December. If he is found any later not all of the toys would be made. Mrs. Claus has been quite worried about him. Searchers know he made his reindeer go on a diet. They think his reindeer got mad that they could not have any more sugar cubes. (Their favorite treat) His reindeer may have kicked him out of the sleigh or gone zigzag and fell out of the sleigh. Searchers are hoping that he didn't fall out in an ocean. If you have any leads or clues please call 1-800-752-1076.

WHERE IS SANTA? By Krystal Peplinski December 8, 2006 Wyndmere, ND Where was Santa? I know that Santa was gone because Santa is my grandfather. I have visited the North Pole many times. The first time I went there I didn't know how many toys the elves made. It was unbelievable! Oh the reindeer are very fun to play with too! I have only brought a couple of my friends there before. I go to the North Pole when I want, but I have to ask my mom, my dad, and my grandma. Anyway, we found clues where my grandpa (Santa) might be, but we are not sure where he could be. One clue was that we found Rudolph in his little house so he could not have gone that night. Another clue was we found all of his badges that he wears wherever he goes. He has one for every town. But three of the badges were missing! Guess what ones were missing? Barney, Wyndmere, and Wahpeton. We were thinking that he had looked at all of the places he had to go for Christmas Eve this year. Then the next night he came home, and we had a celebration! He never told us where he had gone. That night I remembered that he wears the three badges that were gone. They were Barney, Wyndmere, and Wahpeton!

WHERE IS SANTA? By Jerry December 8, 2006 Wyndmere, ND There was a tragic event last night, Santa has gone missing! He was last seen at Wal-Mart. He was wearing a red coat with black boots. The elves are out looking for him. If there is no Santa, who will bring presents to the good girls and boys? What will Mrs. Clause do without him? His reindeer were seen flying over New York City with no Santa in the sleigh! I think he was eating cookies at a little girl and boy's house and the reindeer left without him. Don't worry girls and boys, there is an Amber Alert out for him. This is what he looks like, he has a white beard, white hair, and he's fat. If you have seen him, call 555-1234 or email us at www. Santa Clause is missing.com. Santa we need you! Come home. WHERE'S SANTA By Ramiro Perales December 8, 2006 December 3, Wyndmere, ND. Where's Santa? One night Ramiro was asleep, he heard something, it was from outside. Ramiro looked outside to see what it was. The elves were out there. Ramiro went outside. He said to the elves, What are you doing? They said, looking for Santa. Ramiro said, ''Santa's missing? Ramiro went to look for him. Santa, Santa he yelled! Ramiro said, Let's split up. We can look for him quicker. '' Ramiro went to look. He found something red. Ramiro said this could be part of Santa's suit. Ramiro kept looking. Each time he found something of Santa. Ramiro thought, I'll just keep going straight until I find him. Ramiro said, I found him, he's stuck in the tree.''

WHERE'S SANTA? By Destiny Fitzpatrick December 8, 2006 Wyndmere, ND There it was, lying in the field. What was it? A child of only six, had found reindeer roaming in a field. She went to find someone to do something about this problem. As she turned the corner of a building, there it was- Santa's sleigh! The child later described it as really big. And red. After finding it, the child went to her older brother. Of course most children at his age do not believe in Santa Clause. His sister needed proof. So she brought him over to the sleigh. He looked at the sleigh and later reported to the press There was a post card that said; Happy holidays and good greetings from Jamaica!! In the inside it said: Love you honey be back soon, your husband, Santa. And it was in an envelope that said to: Mrs. Clause from: Mr. Clause.'' The machinery was smoking heavily when the press found it. We now have a search out for The Missing Santa.

WARNING: MISSING SANTA By: Baylee Krause Dec. 10, 2006 Miami, FL Santa is missing. As you know Santa Clause is mysteriously missing. Santa went out one night with the reindeer to get them back in the habit for Christmas says Mrs. Clause. He left about 5:00 p.m. and his reindeer returned without him or the sleigh at about 8:00 p.m. Someone or something must have unattached the sleigh. Nobody knows where he is. Santa is my uncle says Brenden. I don't know where he could be, but sure hope he is okay. Dalton, Santa's son, is in worry but he says he knows there is hope in finding him. If you know anything about him, please contact the police at: 583-2285 or Mrs. Clause at: 859-2962. He disappeared on Sunday night. He was wearing black pants, red coat, black boots, and his Santa hat. The search will continue until they find him. So please, please, help us, we need Santa. If we do not find him there will still be presents for the good because that is what Santa would want. Please bring the family. Hope and keep them in your prayers. What A TRAGIC THING TO HAPPEN AROUND CHRISTMAS!!!!

SANTA S.O.S. BY Alec Johnson December 8, 2006 NORTH POLE Santa was missing. He left last night and said he would be home in the morning. He isn't back yet and every body is going crazy. We told the police and they said it was a lie. So we got a big group of people together and we went out to look for him. One of the people saw some tracks but they weren't Santa's. I went to get a GPS so we didn't get lost, but we were already lost. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw his sleigh. I knew there was a GPS in his sleigh so he would know where everybody was when he was delivering gifts. I found it, but the batteries were dead. I checked to see if I had any batteries, but I didn't. We kept looking but it was getting dark. We all had to go home. I went home and tried to call him he answered but he didn't know where he was at. He thought he might be by LAKE ERIE but he didn't know. The next day we got on a plane and went to Lake Erie. We asked the police and they said that there was a guy with a Santa suit on. He was in the hospital. We went to hospital and it was him. So we had a big party and everyone brought gifts and pizza. The next day was Christmas Eve so Santa had to go home. But everybody went home. I stayed there and cleaned it all up. The next day I went back to the North Pole to help Santa pack the gifs. I gave Donner a caramel apple and he didn't eat it he wanted steak. So I gave him a steak. He loved it. I fed all the reindeer so they wouldn't get hungry when they were delivering gifts. For Christmas I got a big steak it was the best.
