This event is the premier gathering where Saab 340 & 2000 operators, vendors, lessors and of course Saab are present to exchange ideas end experiences while looking forward and deciding on priorities for further development of the aircraft types. This year Saab has teamed up with Miami based lessor Jetstream Aviation Capital, bringing the event to beautiful Miami Beach and the iconic Eden Roc hotel to redefine the way Saab Global Operators Conferences are set up. Raising the bar The Saab Global Operators Conference has always been a very technically oriented event, and rightly so. This year, while maintaining the Industry Steering Committee/ Maintenance Review Board and Flight Operations meetings as the core sessions during day one and two, day three is hosted by Jetstream Aviation Capital and will raise the sights to encompass the future of regional aviation and how the Saab 340 & 2000 will develop to maintain the aircraft as commercially attractive platforms. Our aim is to attract more senior management attendees to the conference. No vendor exhibition, more interaction Historically there has always been an exhibition area where vendors could showcase products and services to the Saab community. After listening in on the feedback received after the last conference, we have decided to skip the booth based exhibition format, focusing instead on ensuring there are sufficient time and venues for vendors and operators to meet, planned or spontaneous.
Eden Roc hotel Who can come? All operators of Saab 340 & 2000 aircraft are welcome to attend. For vendors, this is an invitational event. Your presence and participation is essential for a successful conference. This is a great opportunity to meet Saab 340 & 2000 operators and suppliers from around the world in one spot to network and do business. Private meeting rooms During the whole week, Monday through Friday, there are multiple meeting rooms available to book, free of charge, and dedicated timeslots in the agenda for setting up meetings that do not interfere with attending the sessions. Thursday evening is also free for vendors to organise dinners and invitational events. Current attendance lists will be sent out to all participants every two weeks starting Thursday August 30. In November, the list will be sent out every Thursday. This allows you to set up meetings with customers and partners well in advance of the conference. Meeting room bookings Private meeting rooms seating 10 persons are available Monday Nov. 26 to Friday Nov 30, 8 AM to 7 PM in time slots of 30 minutes starting on the hour/half hour. All attending companies can pre-book three half-hour slots per day per company. Medal sponsors can pre-book more. There is a cap on the number of meeting rooms available, so getting a specific time slot cannot be guaranteed. Book early to increase your chances. Time slots not booked by Monday Nov. 26 will be made available on site on a firstcome-first served basis. Any meeting room that is booked but left unattended five minutes after the time slot starts is up for grabs.
