OVERVIEW 34th Street Plaza 34TH ST 1 The Spur Opening in early 2019 Thank you for your interest in producing your upcoming event on the High Line. From the sweeping views of the Hudson River, to the raw, structural elements from the elevated railway s industrial past, the High Line provides a one-of-a-kind experience in an unrivaled New York City setting. WEST SIDE HIGHWAY 11TH AVE 3 4 2 10TH AVE 30TH ST 28TH ST 26TH ST 9TH AVE The High Line is a mile-and-a-half public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated thirty feet above the streets of Manhattan s west side. Founded in 1999 by two community residents, Friends of the High Line fought for the High Line s preservation and transformation at a time when the historic structure was under the threat of demolition. It is now the non-profit conservancy that maintains, operates, and programs the High Line, in partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation. The High Line s venues vary in size and scale, offering unlimited possibilities for transformation for both private and public-facing events. A significant portion of this revenue comes from venue site fees, which help to improve the park s functionality, horticulture, and public programs for nearly eight million visitors to enjoy each year.
