TTF is one of the biggest travel show networks of India and participating in TTF strengthens our trade relations besides developing fresh business connections. We expect that in future we will have an even stronger relationship and bond between TTF and J&K Tourism. Kashmir and West Bengal have relations that go a long way. We at J&K Tourism want to extend all help and assistance to the tour and travel operators of Bengal who are interested in doing business with our tour operators, and our trade has also announced up to 40% discount on accommodation. Our focus will remain on the group tours and adventure lovers apart from leisure travellers. We are hopeful that in the near future there will be direct flights from Srinagar to Kolkata. Farooq Ahmad Shah Managing Director, JKTDC In the last four years, during the new regime under the leadership of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, tourism in our state has seen a giant leap. We are able to sell Bengal with our new branding Experience Bengal which we are displaying here at TTF. Over the years, TTF has really progressed a lot. With the easy e-visa policy, it is now a win-win situation for many states including West Bengal which is the gateway to East and Northeast India. A R Bardhan Principal Secretary, Tourism Government of West Bengal I am very pleased that TTF is happening in Hyderabad. Last year when the state of Telangana was born, we participated in TTF as a Host State in TTF Hyderabad. We would like to create a brand for Telangana Tourism all over the world. With so many states, nations and private operators under one roof, tourism is bound to develop faster in our State. I hope TTF grows in future and hope to see everyone back next year in Hyderabad. B P Acharya Principal Secretary, Planning and Tourism Government of Telangana Client Testimonials TTF has been organised in the best possible way and the numbers of participating tour operators are quite a lot. TTF has done a marvellous job in helping our tour operators develop tie-up with tour operators from other regions. This is how the travel trade develops. Nityanand Srivastava Managing Director Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited TTF is a very useful travel trade fair beautifully planned and organised event held in Surat every year with participation from different states and countries. This includes participation from Gujarat Tourism and Ministry of Tourism, Government of India as well. TTF helps people to get sufficient information and contributes a lot to promote the travel industry in Gujarat. TTF s success shows that it is welcomed and appreciated by the people of Surat. People do get lot of information from here. People from Surat and Gujarat do like to travel a lot - nationally as well as internationally and TTF is an endeavour from where they get all these information easily. Niranjan Zanzmera Mayor of Surat Participating in TTF has always been fruitful and productive for us and it has gone a long way in promoting Jammu and Kashmir as an independent and distinct tourism destination. Our participation in TTF also helps us to dispel the negativity of the calamities like flood that happened last year, and matters related to security issues. We got good business through the B2B meetings and the tour operators who came with us are quite upbeat and hopeful that they will get more business and business partner tie ups after TTF. A few months back, I got a communication from the TTF and OTM organisers saying that I have been nominated as one of the top 100 travel professionals in the country, which was a great honour for Gainwell; unfortunately I could not attend OTM in Mumbai. So it s great that I could attend TTF Kolkata to receive the award. Gainwell has been in Kolkata for 24 years and since the company started in 1991 we have been participating in TTF Kolkata ever since except for one or two years. So it has been a rewarding experience to see the event grow and it is really nice to see so many quality participants. Manoj Saraf Managing Director Gainwell Travel & Leisure Voices I thank TTF for recognising the travel agents and awarding us with one of the top producer awards. TTF has done a great service to the travel industry, and in the 26 years they have grown a lot. TTF helps our buyers in this state to interact with sellers from all over India, including many countries from around the world. This provides excellent opportunities for the travel trade. We were among the original participants of TTF Kolkata when it first started in 1989, and have continued our participation since then, so we are privileged to have that relationship with TTF. J T Ramnani Managing Director Vensimal Leisure Holidays Thanks to Fairfest Media for recognising my services to the industry. Deep down, we all crave for a bit of recognition and it couldn t have been greater than this award. I have been visiting TTF for almost 20 years and I have found it to be getting better each year. This year it is a lot more vibrant and a lot more appealing. I think all the stalls have been wonderfully designed and I am quite amazed at the kind of turnout TTF has been able to achieve. I wish TTF success. Sanjay Maniar Director, Travelaid President, West Bengal, IATA Agents Association of India (IAAI) Thanks to Fairfest for giving us the honour and recognising our efforts and contribution in tourism, and congratulations for completing 26 years. For us, TTF is the mega event of tourism in Kolkata. This year we have some special arrangement with TTF for the members of IATO and ADTOI and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the organisers of TTF for extending those privileges to our members. Debjit Dutta Impression Tourist Services Chairman, West Bengal Chapter Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) I am very privileged to be recognised for my work in the trade and I thank TTF for giving me such an honour. I have been visiting TTF for the last 20 years and I have noticed that it has grown bigger each year. This year the participation of countries like New Zealand is good news for the trade participants in Kolkata since they are getting a chance to learn about the destination which would help us to sell that destination. Similarly, Thailand has been showcasing their handicrafts which are expected to give better mileage to sell that destination. Sajan K Gupta CEO, Vayu Seva Tours & Travels Chairman, Eastern Chapter Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI) It is a big honour to receive such an award from TTF and I am highly grateful for the recognition. We hope to continue our good work in the future. We are regular visitors of TTF, not just in Kolkata but also in events held in other parts of the country and I think it s a great experience to be a part of it since we get a lot of opportunities for B2B interactions. Devesh Kumar Agarwal Managing Director, Victoria Travels Chairman, Eastern Region, Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) 9

Client Testimonials TTF&OTM is one of the best forums available and that s why it is the only one we partner with for exhibiting Adlabs Imagica. They serve our purpose, help us reach out to B2B and B2C audience both in a best possible combination. It is a respected exhibition that grows, travels across the country. They have started understanding us, we have started understanding their formats. So it is helping us well, the footfalls are very nice. We see quality people coming in. Gujarat has become very strong market for us, but with TTF we see ourselves going to other parts of the country as well. We are using TTF to get into markets where we might not be strong. We went to Kolkata, the response was nice. We have done enough dipsticks, spoken to people who matter in this industry and we have heard equally from them that TTF is perhaps the best platform to get the most of. Thanks to the platform, it is doing great for us. Harjeet Chhabra Chief Marketing Officer Adlabs Imagica TTF is a wonderful event and people of Kolkata love to travel, so the event is bound to bring great results for the exhibitors. I represent Nicco Parks & Resorts Limited, more commonly known as Nicco Park, which is one of the best amusement parks in Kolkata. We also have parks in Agartala, Dhaka and are currently working on one in Nagpur. Along with that we have done refurbishment of parks in places like Dubai. Therefore, we are interested in spreading our ventures and TTF provides an important platform for us to meet and showcase our strengths to the people. Rajesh Raisinghani Vice President Operations Marketing and F&B, Nicco Park & Resorts Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa participated at the TTF Hyderabad. The airline, which flies daily from Hyderabad to Sharjah, hosted guests at the stall and received appreciable attendance. Air Arabia connects people, families and businesses from Hyderabad to Sharjah and 103 destinations thereon. With an enthusiastic participation from state tourism boards, national tourist offices and a gamut of hospitality industry leaders, the fair was an absolute success. Sachin Nene Regional Manager - India Air Arabia Fairfest Media, the organising team behind TTF, were the first to take the initiative to organise a travel mart in India, at a time when nobody thought about having a travel mart in India. They were pioneers, just like we were pioneers of rural tourism in India. Without TTF many remote places would never have been exposed to travel industry. TTF has been a major platform for niche tourism in India, for rural tourism, which has brought Northeast and adjoining countries together to this same platform. Supratim (Raj) Basu Director, Help Tourism TTF is an excellent platform for both B2B & B2C customers and is the one place which brings the travel fraternity together, where one can exchange their thoughts and business processes, making it the best platform. TTF for us is the best platform to showcase our product as we are very new and TTF will help us since we have a lot of B2B as well as B2C customers. TTF provides us with the ideal platform to create awareness in the local market, as well as other neighbouring markets. Chiranjiv Mitra Sales Manager Passenger & Cargo Mihin Lanka 11

This was the first time that JTB participated in TTF Hyderabad and Kolkata. The response was very positive and we managed to make headway into the potential market. Despite the fact that it was our debut, we received a very positive response from the trade community and the consumers. The shows were very well attended by trade and consumers, were well organised and provided a great platform to connect with the audience. There was a steady stream of visitors from our target segments on all the days in both the cities. Ashit Taneja Country Manager, India Jordan Tourism Board We have been part of TTF since 2011 and we have participated in almost all the TTFs in different cities. Ahmedabad is definitely a special city as the general people from Gujarat love to travel a lot, so we get to showcase our product here and get the exposure in the particular market as well. We did very good business here. Sudeep Mehta President - Sales and Marketing The Tree House Resort TTF is growing every year. We see a lot of new people coming in, a lot of new travel agents even from outside the main cities as well. Our business is going good and we are taking stalls in every TTF. TTF shows a lot of new avenues and we are really doing well. We are also expecting lots of direct clients as we are promoting newer destinations. People are not aware of such places and through TTF we are promoting such destinations directly to them as well. Naresh Arora CEO& MD Trulyy India Hotels and Resorts In TTF we always get very good business and excellent response. TTF helps us to meet with a lot of new travel agents and tour operators to promote our property. Gursharan Singh General Manager Hotel Le ROI Client Testimonials Bangladesh is a pretty well known destination to Indian audience. The relation between India and Bangladesh is very much heart to heart. Bangladesh has recently developed not only in cricket, but in economy and tourism and now a global tourism destination. Our connectivity with India is improving day by day and the people from West Bengal, Assam, Tripura and surrounding states - we do not consider them as tourists, we consider them our men, our brothers, and our sisters. TTF is a very big and important platform to showcase the latest offerings of Bangladesh to the people of Bengal and it it is a great opportunity for us to be here. Mohammed Saiful Islam First Secretary (Commercial) Deputy High Commission of Bangladesh, Kolkata For the first time we are participating in TTF Ahmedabad and it has been excellent. There is a lot of footfall and we generated good business leads, so overall the response is very positive. Siddarth Bhatia Director FSR Travels We have been participating in TTF for quite a long time and the experience and business development have been very good. This year, TTF has grown even bigger with very high quality footfall. TTF helps us meet our agents and give the general people the information about our products which are equally important for us. Manisha Sarkar Manager - Cruise Marketing Vivada Cruises We participated in TTF last year also and the business had been really good. The response this year also is very satisfactory - we are happy with the location of our booth also, it makes a difference. The meetings were very good as we saw a lot of domestic agents with great potentials and it really made a difference for our business. Gita Chaudhry Partner Evoque Hotel Marketing 12

I have been coming to TTFs for the last few years and I have seen it growing every year. This year we have found a very high quality crowd coming in with a lot more countries and good agents participating in. TTF is always there to promote our products and give all the updates to our travel partners out there. It is value for money to be here at TTF. Khalid Gori Chief Operating Officer Ark Travels Client Testimonials TTF is the best platform for any travel industry person to meet all the travel agents and different suppliers. At TTF, we not only meet a lot of people, hoteliers, travel suppliers, but also a big number of out-station travel agents. With the biggest event OTM in Mumbai, for us it is like heaven, a platform where you meet everyone. Manvendra Singh Vaghela AVP Sales India & Middle East Star Cruises TTF Ahmedabad is quite big this time and I was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of suppliers here. I am quite pleased that so much interest has been generated in Gujarat and very happy to see all of them here. We had considerable number of good of meetings with all the agents who came to meet us and we collected lots of data for our franchise as well. Meeta Shah Director Flamingo Since TTF happens in key cities across India, therefore it makes better business sense for us to partner with TTF. It is also a platform where we can network with partners from travel trade and being a chain of hotels we get to meet good buyers and discuss potential business. We have always felt that TTF is a great marketing and branding platform wherein we get an opportunity to showcase our existing hotels as well as our upcoming hotels to our channel partners, and in addition it gives us an opportunity for direct interaction with our channel partners and customers and provides us a platform for showcasing our hotels. Vikas Khazanchi General Manager - Sales The Pride Hotels OYO Rooms is India s largest branded network of hotels and to be the exclusive hospitality partner of TTF is a pleasurable experience for us. Also, it came naturally to us to partner with TTF as travel and hospitality go handin-hand. OYO s fundamental is to make quality stays accessible for everyone who needs a place to stay and TTF has greatly helped us with that. It has provided us great visibility in the travel trade market. The response from consumers, travel agents and hoteliers has been inspiring. Through TTF, we have been able to tell people about what OYO stands for predictability, affordability and availability of comfortable stays. Anuj Tejpal Chief Business Development Officer OYO Rooms I am very happy that participation has increased even more in this year s TTF and the quality of footfall is also very high. We are very happy with the turnout. Gujarat has such a big B2B market, where small town players also play strong. It is a high season time for Guajaratis and TTF is having the fair at the perfect time. It gives us good mileage and good platform to do even better business. Next year, I will come with a bigger stall with new ideas and new concepts. Himansshu Kapadia CEO Hallmark Tours This is the first time we have participated in TTF and received a very good response. I met a lot of travel companies and got very good business leads. I am very satisfied with the overall experience. Sonam Phuntsho CEO & Founder Bhutan Norter Adventures TTF has been very good and useful platform for us where we meet all the people we need under one roof. For us it is important to be present in B2B and B2C surface. This is our third time participation in TTF Ahmedabad and Ahmedabad has always been a promising market for us. There is a very crème crowd of about 2-5% what we are targeting towards and if it really interests them they know where to come and that s the very reason we are in TTF. Karl Boga Marketing Manager Oman Tourism This edition of TTF was very satisfactory. We have got great business querries especially on MICE. Show Highlights Nepal Tourism Board makes first international appearance after the quake Emerging bravely from the devastating earthquake just a few months back, Nepal Tourism Board made its first international trade show appearance since the disaster, at TTF Kolkata. A houseful road show by Nepal Tourism Board was held on the first day of TTF Kolkata where Indian travellers were invited to return to visit the magnificent and vibrant country of Nepal. Khem Raj Timalsena and Bimal Kandel from Nepal Tourism Board presented the ground situation in Nepal, especially at the major attractions, and made an impassioned plea to the travel trade to check out for themselves their readiness and also their need to receive large number of tourists. Though some of the brick-and-mortar heritage sites were affected, the intangible heritage like the culture and traditions, and the hallmark hospitality remains intact and alive. The Nepal Tourism Board presentation portrayed that the country is now embarking upon the most fascinating period in all of its modern history, and one can be right there to see it happen, and also contribute to the rebuilding of a new Nepal. The presentation echoed the hope that despite the damage to some of its historical and cultural monuments and trekking trails, Nepal has not lost its spirit and determination to bounce back. In the process to bring back tourism to normalcy, some of the monuments in the heritage sites have reopened for tourists since June 15. Road and air transport links remain intact across the country; the majority of hotels and restaurants are back in operation. Chitwan, Pokhara, Annapurna region and Bardia escaped widespread damage, and are thus ready to showcase their abundance of attractions. The birthplace of Buddha, Lumbini, did not suffer any damage and is all set to welcome visitors back to its sacred soil. Pashupathinath, Muktinath and many religious places also have not been affected by the deadly earthquake. Out of 75 districts of Nepal, only 11 districts are affected. Apart from Langtang, Manaslu and Gaurishankar, other 14 national parks and conservation areas including Everest, Annapurna, and Kanchenjunga areas have withstood the earthquake with strength and power. The Nepal Tourism Board officials were very happy with the response they received at TTF Kolkata. The huge crowd and inquiries coming in at Nepal pavilion only proved that with tourism as its major economy booster, Nepal is all set to revive on a fast-track. China Tourism promotes Sichuan region The China National Tourist Office (CNTO), New Delhi is aggressively promoting the tourism attractions of China, by activities in metro cities such as New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. During TTFs in Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai & New Delhi the delegates from Sichuan, Guangxi, Jilin, Qinghai and Tibet regions joined CNTO in promoting their respective destinations. This trend is very encouraging, and India as an emerging tourist source market for China is gaining much higher attention. Visit India Year in China 2015 was very successful and Visit China Year in India 2016 is getting very good response, said LI Qianguo, Director, China National Tourist Office, New Delhi. Sri Lanka promotes itself as One Island Thousand Treasures Sri Lanka Tourism participated in TTF Hyderabad in a big way as the Partner Country, with 10 destination management companies joining Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau in the large and colourful Pavilion. We have fixed a target to achieve 2.5 million foreign tourist arrivals in next two years. Out of this, India would be the largest contributor. Wedding tourism, luxury travel, business and meetings, beach sports and adventure tourism are witnessing good interest from the Indian travellers, said Indrajith De Silva, Director of Sri Lankan Tourism Promotion Board. 21

Show Highlights Tourism Authority of Thailand pulls huge crowds by promoting Thainess at TTFs Tourism Authority of Thailand, New Delhi and The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kolkata along with Thai Airways participated in TTF Kolkata to showcase Thai culture (umbrella painting), holiday packages, new destinations and much more. Thailand successfully captured the attention and imagination of a large number of trade visitors as well as consumers, and offered them information on pristine beaches, hotels, spas, shopping at the world s biggest stores, restaurants, etc in Krabi, Samui, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, Pattaya, Koh Chang, Khao Yai, Koh Tao, Bangkok, and many more new places. Thailand has also become one of the most popular destinations for Indian weddings thanks to its proximity to India, beautiful locales and most importantly, its ability to cater to all the requirements of an Indian wedding. Recent years have also seen a marked rise in the number of Indian film-makers, MICE, destination weddings and celebrations, honeymooners, seniors and special interest groups like golfers, divers and bikers travelling to Thailand with increasing average length of stay and spend. Thailand always gets good business from TTF. A very good number of travel agents came to our stall and got a lot of information and we did good business as well. We would like to promote Thailand more among the women travellers. As Indians love beach, we are promoting a new destination for wedding and honeymoon called Trang, situated in the southern part near Krabi. The speciality of Trang is underwater wedding, and last year we had one Indian couple experiencing that. Soraya Homchuen Director Tourism Authority of Thailand (Mumbai) I am very pleased to participate in TTF 2015. This year we have not only brought packages and information about Thailand, we have also brought colourful umbrella paintings from North of Thailand. I would also like to congratulate TTF for a really successful event, not just in Kolkata but in other cities as well. TTF Kolkata 2015 has brought in a large crowd of people which has helped Thailand to present its cultural tourism and packages. The umbrella paintings have been able to showcase our Thai culture, which attracted the attention of Indian tourists. Amazing Thailand is not just a destination for women, family or MICE, golf, sports; it is the destination for all of the above. And Kolkata is one of our main targets, since about 20% of Indians travel to Thailand through Kolkata Airport. Runjuan Tongrut Director Tourism Authority of Thailand (New Delhi) 22 Big Bangkok city promotion in TTF Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) knows that the Indian market is quite big. There are lots of people who are willing to spend and explore new experiences in and around Bangkok. It would be a very good chance to promote Bangkok as one such destination, to give more information about Bangkok city giving both the travel agents and individuals with new choices. The first comment about our participation in TTF is that it is a successful mission in Mumbai. We had a big number of travel agents and tour operators coming in to our pavilion and meeting with us during the three days of the fair, and we hope to do good business with them now. The way organisers of the fair helped Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in connecting with all concerned, we are very happy and BMA would now seriously consider participating in the next fairs in the near future. Kanokrat Phannara Musical Director, Culture, Sports and Tourism Department Bangkok Metropolitan Administration
